Brizel was lying on the couch. Bryan stood up and sat on the floor beside her .
What am I going to do now? This was a fucked up idea from the start. Oh goddd.
'I want to drink you up.'
'What?' He looked up at her face. She was now in a sitting position and staring straight at him.
'Not you.' She stood up from the couch only to fall on her knees in front of him.
'Let's get you to bed.'
'No I don't want to sleep.'
He holds her hand to help her get up. Somehow with great difficulty Bryan is able to get her to bed but she is unwilling to let her go. She holds his wrist and he feels electricity jolt through him.
He wasn't drunk nor tipsy. He looked at her hands and saw golden sparks travelling up from her hand to hers. He looked in her eyes and saw her eyes glowing. He was scared. What was happening? Thousand questions were running through his head yet he cannot grasp one. He jerks his hand from her and tumbles back . The sparks are gone and so is the glow in her eyes.
He don't know what to do now. The thing he saw was it real. He doesn't know.
'Miss, there's something going on here.'
The line was silent for few seconds as the detective who was in front of the cctv room with the guards in charge unconscious.
'Tell me more.'
'The footage of their floor is blocked only restricted access is available.'
'Get back. We will discuss first.'
My head. It feels like a drilling machine.
'You are up it seems. Here' he hands her a tablet and a glass of water. 'It will help to relieve your hangover.'
Without a second thought Brizel gulps the medicine.
Bryan sits on the sofa. It seems like Brizel doesn't have a recollection of yesterday. He wants to know what that was.
After few seconds of them sitting in silence he speaks.
'You want to go out today?'
'No.'
She looks at him. And it seems like all the thoughts of previous nights have left his mind upon listening to her voice.
'Bryan' the way she says his name tells so many things. It feels to him as if there is a bond between them. That he can feel her emotions. Like right now for some reason he can feel the sadness yet determination in her. Maybe it's related to the thing he saw yesterday.
'I want to know the truth.'
Truth. How was he good to tell her he still hadn't figured out.
'Not now.' He says , his voice holding authority to end the conversation but seems like Brizel is not going to back off.
'I want to know . It. Now.'
And Bryan feels as if he can do nothing to change her mind.
'Ok let's start then.'
