Mrs. Yue's had a good disposition and equally as good a temper. She never bore any ill-will toward anyone else, but the one person throughout her life that she hated with a passion was Yue Tingfeng's father.
Their old grudges against each other had passed the point where a couple of words were not enough to address the issues they were facing.
Yue Tingfeng smiled and reached out to hug Mrs. Yue. "I said the same thing! Don't think about coming back if he's not dead."
Before he came back home, his father approached him in the hopes that when he returned, he could try to convince Mrs. Yue to agree to him coming back home.
Mr. Yue's reason was that he was old and as good as life was overseas, it was still no match for his hometown. As an elderly expatriate, he still wished he could return home.
