Yan Qingsi felt increasingly uncomfortable by the unrelenting stares from Yue Tingfeng, she had always assumed that her path to vengeance was hers to walk alone. Getting Yue Tingfeng involved twice in the past was not in the plan. She was backed into a corner and in order to save her own skin, she was forced to involve Tingfeng in her personal vendetta when he had caught up with her facade.
After spending some time with him, she felt a change of heart and had some mixed feelings brewing toward him. Because of her feelings for him, she was not clear as to what their relationship meant anymore. On top of that, it would be impossible for her to turn back at this point, so there will be no need for unnecessary collateral damage by getting him involved again.
