Xi Lin wasn't surprised at his promise. However, as soon as she relaxed, her stomach felt uncomfortable again. She bent over and vomited. Her face paled instantly.
"Lin'er, are you okay?" Xi Jin rushed forward and patted her on the back. When she was almost done vomiting, he wiped the corners of her mouth with a handkerchief. He then turned around and helped her get water to let her rinse her mouth.
Xi Lin looked at her Imperial Brother, who took such good care of her, then shook her head, and smiled. "It's okay. It's just morning sickness. It'll be fine after a while."
"Shen Yunya doesn't vomit." Xi Jin was extremely distressed. She was his only precious sister, so how could he let her suffer a life-or-death situation such as getting pregnant?
"Everybody is different." Xi Lin stretched out her hand to take Xi Jin's arm and acted endearingly. "Brother, don't tell anyone about this. I want to leave the palace to give birth to this child," she said.
