Si Mobai sat by her bed from dusk till dawn without looking away even for a moment. He just could not get enough of her.
Feng Tianlan slowly woke up. In front of her eyes was Si Mobai's deep and focused gaze. She met him as soon as she woke up and smiled in satisfaction, "Mobai."
"Lan'er..." ,said Si Mobai while stretching out his hand to help her up. Yet, he paused halfway and the joy on his face turned into an anxious look. He was afraid and could not bear to hurt her.
Feng Tianlan saw he paused halfway. So, she propped herself up and asked in confusion, "Mobai, what happened?"
"Huh?" Si Mobai returned to his senses.
"Why did you freeze out of sudden?" Feng Tianlan reached out to grab his hand, but he quickly held back. Feng Tianlan frowned in confusion. What was going on? She realized something wrong with Si Mobai.
