everyone and everything (that is alive) starts as a soul in the soulscape. the longer a soul stays in the soulscape, the more potential and chance to get born as something powerful/having great evolutionary potential they have. there is one soul that hasn't ben born for a million years, this is our protagonist. one day the god of life saw the soul and was surprised(souls are usually released and born by their 500th year if they are lucky, 1000 years if the gods need a champion in times of war)he immediately birthed the soul and checked where it went. it went to a planet that had greatly developed magical technology and was in a great state of peace, other than a few tiny monster swarms not much bad stuff had happened. the planet was called Isalone, it had one big continent that had a few great rivers running through it. the god of life checked the section the soul was in and found it was called Alponte. there are seven "sections" that make up the main continent, Alponte,Thariad,Nartuce,Shira,Thoedar,Crowlor and Aphecia. he looked at what the souls race is and his mouth gaped open in surprise, the soul was just a lowly common slime!.

the slime was sliding around trying to find things to kill and consume!
