When Jim finally got enough rest, he found a note left on the table with a bunch of food baskets. One had Hyun's name written on it and the other had Yoomi's name on in. How did Yoomi even know who he is, when he barely even knew her in the other world, not that he mind at all. On the note, in Hyun's very illegible handwriting:
Covered your backside at work and told Boss that you had dengue and had to stay at hospital for a couple of days for observations. You were too weak to report your illness to him. Get ready to treat me a big meal when u get better.
Jim felt way better now and when he wanted to press the bell for assistance from the nurses. He realised there was a tattoo on his right hand. Right when he was about to start being paranoid, Albert walked in.
" Hey, feeling better now?"
" Yep, how was the test results? And what the heck is this thing right here" Jim pointed to the symbol on his right hand.
" You done astonishing well for the test. You were on the platform for 15 minutes, average student at the academy can only clock a maximum of 5 and they were the elites of the elites. This thing right here is an emblem of the school, it will be there until you graduate "
" From now on, call me Prof Alb, or at least that was what your paremts called me"
" My parents?? You know them?"
" Of course, they were all Awakens and had to enroll in the school. Both your parents were the brightest students i ever taught as well as the school ever had."
Jim felt a sense of pride swelling within him, parents that he barely had memories about were actually the smartest people here.
" I will wait for you in school, finish your discharge procedure and head on that. "
With that, Prof Alb left the room and at the same time, the nurse came in and removed all the tubes attached to him.
At the discharge centre, the nurse in charge passed him all his personal belongings as he proceeded to the toilet to change.
While changing, he saw his phone lying in the basket. He had a phone here? Thinking for a while, he should have had a phone here, how stupid.
He left the hospital while scrolling through his phone and called Hyun to pick him up.
" So, where are you heading O Great One?"
" Stop messing with me man, i needa go to office."
" Sure Sir, Yes Sir, Definitely Sir"
" Bro, do the people here all know about the Awakens?"
" Of course, we learnt that together in school, It was the only lesson that we enjoyed. And now look at you man, lucky lucky"
" Ok, i share with you a secret but i dont have memories of this world at all, can you at least update me about whats going on recently?"
" Hmm, you found out that Jeon was using you, the last time i saw you before you went all missing and stuff, you looked excited. Hmm oh ya, it was cause you have a date with the short hair girl... Whats her name... Oh ya Yoomi. I think it's tonight"
