The hours flew by, and then there was a beating at the door. Naomi mumbled, "Come in," and the door slowly creaked open. Sophia stood in the doorway looking at Naomi while jumping and shouting, "He didn't pick me! He came by and told me he found someone better than me! I'm free to marry Ivan! Isn't that wonderful?!" Naomi looked at her and said, "That's great." Naomi turned her head and looked down at the ground as tears ran down her cheeks. Sophia ran up to Naomi, hugged her, and asked, "What's wrong? Isn't this supposed to be good news?" Naomi cried, "He didn't pick you because he chose me instead." Sophia gasped and said, " He chose you? I'm so sorry." Naomi said, "I don't want to marry him!" Sophia looked at Naomi and said, "We have to get you out of here. Me and Ivan were going back to his old village in another kingdom to live there. If you don't want to marry Darren you have to come with us!" Naomi heard The Voice say, "You can't run from this.... The Truth." Naomi ignored The Voice and asked, "When do we go?" The Voice said, "Naomi," and Sophia said, "I'll talk to Ivan, we can probably leave as soon as tomorrow night." Naomi dried her eyes and said, "Alright, we have to hurry." Sophia said, "We'll come and pick you up tomorrow to leave," and left while closing the door behind her. The Voice said, "Naomi, you can't run away from this.... The Truth Naomi you're going to find it. You won't be able to run away. The Truth." Naomi said, "I'm not marrying Darren!" The Voice said, "You can not run away from this. You are the one whom I have chosen to find The Truth." Naomi replied, "Find Yourself another girl because I'm not her. You must've made a mistake." The Voice said, "I do not make mistakes. I have personally chosen you to find The Truth. You can not avoid this Naomi. You are the one who I know can do this. You will find The Truth." Naomi said, "Please find Yourself another girl.... Because I don't want to do this." The Voice said, "I picked you for a reason. You have to find The Truth." Naomi shouted, "I can't do it! I won't do it!" The Voice said, "The Truth Naomi." Naomi dropped to her knees and cried, "Stop it! I don't want to know The Truth." The Voice said, "My Child, you will find The Truth."
Naomi kneeled on the floor for hours until dusk set in. She stumbled up to her feet, walked into the kitchen, looked outside the kitchen window, and said, "I must escape tomorrow.... this Prince will not have me as his wife... I must escape right away." The Voice said, "Naomi, you can not run away from this." She ran into her room and started throwing all of her clothes on her bed, saying, "I must pack." The Voice said, "Naomi, you don't have time..." She ignored The Voice and continued throwing her clothes on the bed, saying, "I have to escape." The Voice said, "You can not avoid this Naomi." She continued to ignore The Voice until she heard a loud beating at the door. She walked over to her door and asked, "Who's there?" She heard the voice of a man say, "Your carriage awaits you, Your Highness Princess Naomi. Open up now." She started to breathe heavily, and she backed away from the door crying, "No, this can't be!" Again, there was a loud beating at her door, and the man said, "Open up Your Highness. His Highness Prince Darren demands that he see you right away." She screamed, "No, I won't!" There was a continual beating at her door, and she ran into her room, balled herself up on the floor, and cried. The Voice said, "Naomi, I told you that you could not avoid this. You have to listen to Me. Do not fight these men! Go peacefully... If you don't, it will give you problems!" Naomi cried, "No!" The Voice said, "You have to trust Me Naomi! You will find The Truth. I can give you My protection! I can protect you, but you have to listen and you have to trust Me!" Naomi said, "I can't. I can't go with him. Please don't make me do this!" The Voice said, "If you don't go now, you will make things harder for yourself. I will not lead you to destruction Naomi, but you have to trust in Me because if you don't, you will lead yourself to a place in which you don't want to be. Go peacefully with these men and know that I have a plan and things will happen on My times. It will work out for you, Naomi, but you have to trust in Me, or you will end in destruction. The Truth Naomi. You have to find The Truth." She heard the man at her front door yell, "If you don't open up we'll break down the door!" The Voice said, "Go now, Naomi. Don't let them break down that door." Naomi stood up and walked to her front door. She opened it to see a man that was 5'7 and had a belt of daggers hanging around his waist, a reddish brown wooden carriage that had 2 horses pulling it and a man driving it, and man that was 5'4 who stood in front of the carriage. The men on the ground bowed, and the carriage driver took off his hat and put it back on. The man at the front door said, "My name is Simon, your carriage driver's name is Austin, and the man at the carriage is Hector." Simon held out his hand and said, "I'm one of you many bodyguards, and I'm here to take you to the castle." Naomi grabbed Simon's hand, and they walked over to the carriage. Hector opened the door to the carriage, and Simon helped her in while getting in himself. Hector closed the door and rode on the side of the carriage while the carriage took off. Inside of the carriage were green cushioned seats that faced each other and a window. The color of the floor and ceiling was a dark brown. Simon said, "Princess Naomi, I hope everything is to your liking." She said nothing and looked out the window thinking, why was I chosen?
