"Moon?"
"What?"
"You're spacing out again, buddy..." Sherry said with a concerned look.
"you okay?"
"Yea. Just thinking." Elliot replied, avoiding eye contact. To be honest, he didn't like the title. It felt new. Foreign. He didn't like the way it sounded robotic when she said it, and didn't want anything to do with that position. However, he didn't want Sherry to go on another lecture about how being Moon meant big responsibilities, and how being Moon meant that he was supposed to appear wise, strong, and well... appear as the King of the dark.
"Anyways, you need to renew my GYRE liquid. I found a few glitches in my system and when i checked the current bottle, the expiry date had passed-"
"oh."
"Sorry. Will do." Elliot said with a sheepish smile.
"Whatever." Sherry sighed, shaking her head at his apologetic smile.
Elliot slipped on his coat and shoes before grabbing his . He smiled feeling the slight breeze escalate through his messy ash-grey hair. The tip of his nose turned pink from the cold, making his silver freckles more visible. He felt as if the whole world went by and it was only him and the wind and freedom. This was his favourite part of the day. He reached down and Then he saw the school building in the near distance. His smile dropped.
He slowed down his pace, as he took a left after entering the front gate. As soon as he put his bike on 3rd opening of the bicycle rack. He didn't even step back before Ophelia punched his shoulder.
"Ow! What the hell, philly?"
"That's for ditching me yesterday. The second one's for Titan. Y'all think you can leave me in Dr shithead's class and get away with it? Nuh-uh baby, you isn't gettin' away with no shit." she said. Damn, that girl could hit.
"Okay," I said nodding, grimacing at her obnoxiously blue bed-head.
"I still cant digest the fact that you dyed your hair electric blue."
"It's a change." she said, "change is good." she's been like this since Telesto Diagous dumped her for Vega Simmons, who was a Light, and the complete of Ophelia, a Dark. I guess that one saying is true. In the end... Light always wins.
We finally reached the front steps, when Titan approached us, and received his side of the punishment.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Elliot chuckled remembering his own reaction to the shoulder-punch.
"For ditching me."
This was how mornings usually went by for these three. The moon and his two orbits.
Ophelia waved them goodbye as they made their way to Elliot's locker, since she was (probably) skipping.
"We got History first." Titan said ruffling his curly maroon hair. Elliot chuckled, gaping at his hair.
"Since when were you so conscious about your hair?" he giggled.
"SHUT UP! It takes FOREVER to do! You don't have curly hair, you don't understand the DEEP pain I feel. You dont even know what the top of my head looks like, shorty!" He argued with a smile.
"yeah, well, you look like a wet dog now!"
They both laughed at that. We entered our Homeroom, and went to their shared desk, they couldn't hide their smiles. They looked at the board and saw that it read: ' Period Clash with Year 12A' .
Seeing as most of his students had entered, Mr Tree started speaking.
"So, homeroom has been added to your first lesson which is History, for ALL of you, to celebrate tonight, which is the start of all your adult lives in the Order, and to remind the newest Coucil members that the Coucil Coronation dinner is tonight."
