As the water slowly crept up the banks of the Shiwa River, a young lady was moving every possession of her family's.
She was quite worried her family might lose everything she owned. This was her last chance. She only had a bit of time to move everything. Her house was starting to get water around it.
"Dad, come help me move the table!" Kila shouted, "I can't do this on my own."
Kila was starting to get aggravated. She had been working since two in the morning. Kila waited five more minutes for her dad before quiting. "If he doesn't want to help then I'm not going to worry about this," Kila said to herself. She came inside to find her dad on the floor not breathing.
Kila called 911, "Help! I just came into my house to find my dad lying on the floor. He's not breathing."
The 911 Dispatcher was talking calmly to Kila asking, "My name's Jamie. Can you feel a pulse in Him?"
Hysterically Kila answered, "I feel it, buts really faint. I only counted 37 beats per minute."
"The ambulance is on the way. Is your front door unlocked," Jamie asked.
"Yes, just hurry," Kila screamed.
As the ambulance got to Lila's house her dad started to slip away. "I love you," he wispered over and over again, but Kila couldn't here it. The men came in and put him on a stretcher and started chest compressions. They told Kila, "You can't come with us Ma'am." So she started crying more and followed the ambulance to the hospital.
