Synopsis
You might hear the name ‘Rhyna King’ when something weird happens. You see, I saw something horrific when I was incredibly young. I told nearby adults as any kid would have done. By the time I got someone’s attention, the wolf I saw and the carcass that was once a living being, vanished. It was like it was never there in the first place. I got in trouble for kit and they called me a liar. They said I was ‘seeing things’. It wasn’t the first time though. It happened again, again, and yet again. Eventually, my so-called friends left me for fear of being bullied, teachers left me alone, and I was called a flurry of names over the years. I still had my family, but sometimes even they didn’t know what to do with me. I knew I wasn’t crazy. I knew what I saw. I still do. They will rue the day they ever doubted me. And it’s coming soon.

Chapter 1 - |Prologue|

There once existed a world without supernatural beings. It was humans, animals, and all of the natural elements. It was pure bliss. That was, until, foolish humans decided to do science experiments with their own kin. They used animals and all of the natural elements they could find. After a period of time, the original supernaturals were created. The original werewolf was a Lycan first. Then came the first vampire, witch and warlock, elven fae, and lastly, the first angel guardian. Forget all of the myths you heard or the books you read. These creatures have no god or gods. They have parents that used them as guinea pigs. The ones with the worst daddy and mommy issues. These supernatural beings were human and then they weren't with time.

Time moved on from this atrocity. Eventually, they mastered their crafts. Lived in harmony with each other even with all of the running they had to do. Fast forward a couple thousand years and all of their parents are dead, sites of their own have been made, and now they need to do something else other than stay hidden.

Damien Vastro, the Lycan and Werewolf King, says thoughtfully, "What if we created something or someone that wasn't any one of us. Rather, that something or someone is the very thing that gives us back our humanity. We would be able to build real lives. The kind of life that we have been robbed of. We don't use any of our sites or pick out any humans. We create this supernatural being out of nothing."

Rosa Beckingham, the Vampire Queen, replies, "If we do this, we will have to wipe the memory of every supernatural other than ourselves. They could not know of this possibility. They will hunt, find, and kill the very thing that could give us what we desire. We will have to give specific ones abilities and they will think they are 'royal'. For each supernatural it will be called something different but all of it will be the same concept."

Justine Gregario, the Witch, says, "You are forgetting one more thing."

Kingston Gregario, the Warlock, replies, "And what would that be sister?"

"We will all need to separate," Justine says with concern, "If we are all together, it will be too dangerous. They cannot ever find out that there were people before them unless it is necessary."

Theo Easdon, the Elven Fae, reflects, "We have never been separated before. This will be a challenge. However, we will need to know where everyone is at all times for safety reasons. Use telepathy only when needed."

"We may do all of this if we even make this something out of nothing," Apollo Saetern, the Angel Guardian, proposes, "Let's worry about making this miracle before we move forward. Agreed?"

"Agreed. Now, let's move forward and do what needs to be done," Damien echoes.

Using each of their strengths and weaknesses they began creating the savior. Time and time again nothing happened. Years passed and the world continued to change while they pursue their goal.

"Nothing we do is working," Ross expresses, "As soon as we even get close, what ever it may be, completely vanishes."

Theo hesitantly suggests, "What if.. what if we take away its ability to love. Its ability to feel."

Rosa exclaims, "No! I refuse to take away that ability. Our emotions are what connects us to our human side. How are we any better than our parents if we do that?"

"I do not want to take that away," Theo replies, "However, if that is the very thing that created what we are looking for, then what is there to lose?"

"I would like to caution you Theo. If we were to do such a barbaric action, the savior that we are creating would more than likely come to resent us," Apollo says thoughtfully, "With this power that it may or may not have, it would possibly have the ability to parish not only the supernaturals, but us as well."

Justine agrees, "Apollo is right. What we are creating, if it goes the way we plan it, will be the most powerful being to have ever lived and ever will live. It will be superior to us. Its powers and abilities will be a combination of what we are. Do we really want that?"

"Yes," Kingston reflects, "If it goes the way we plan it to, we will want that. I hope that it does not endure as much suffering we have had to experience, but that is unlikely. It will be worth the wait and the effort."

"How is taking one's ability to emote with it," Rosa cries, "We are doing this for selfish reasons. What of what we create? It will destroy us before we even have the chance to live! What is wrong with you? At least Apollo and Justine understand the risks! And you Damien! You haven't uttered a single word! Do you agree with this? Do you want to be the same selfish creatures that fathered and mothered us?"

Damien booms, "Silence Rosa. We are not the same people that gave birth to us. That didn't even raise their own children. We governed ourselves. Never forget that. We have had each other's' backs since we were babes. Why are we turning against each other now?"

"You will not silence me," Rosa fumes, "We are not turning against each other. Who gave you that preposterous idea? Are you mad? I am not going to stand idly by and allow us to take something so precious away without us discussing such a matter! There is nothing wrong with that!"

"Rosa, it's okay," Justine says gently, "I understand your anger. We all do. We feel the same way. But we also know that if we don't do this, we will live in the 'what if'. Do you really want to wonder for the rest of eternity what would have happened had we followed through?"

"I don't want to do this. None of us do," Apollo states, "We all know what it's like to be robbed of something unique to us. But it does not mean that it cannot happen..."

Apollo continues, "I know I gave the warning and that Justine agreed with that same warning. However, it's worth the risk. It's worth our happiness. Yes, that makes us selfish. But it does not mean we are the same people that experimented on us."

Rosa lets out silent tears. She knows that they all feel the same pain she does. She knows that none of them want to do what has been suggested. However, she also knows that if she does not follow through, she will be the one responsible.

She is the only one holding back the operation. She is outnumbered. She must go through with it. And so she does. They all do.

Rhyna is made. Only Rosa knows what the name means and the very reason for it. It means 'queen'. For Rhyna is to be queen. Queen of all of them. Queen of supernaturals and humans alike.

When Rhyna was created, they laughed. She looked human but they could see her power even as an infant. The six of the original supernaturals cooed at Rhyna. They adored and loved the being they created as a whole. However, they needed to carry out their plan.

Rosa stayed with Rhyna while the rest of the clan wiped memories, chose 'royals', gave specific supernaturals certain powers, and made new species as well. There were no more lycans; only werewolves. Elves and faes were created as well as angels and guardians. They each had jobs to do and purposes to fulfill. As this was happening, they did one last clever thing. Justine and Kingston put the prophecy inside all of the sacred books for each of the supernaturals.

A new threat to you will arise, but be cautious be wise, for if you conspire to stigmatize, it will be your greatest demise.

Only, these supernaturals wouldn't see the prophecy until it was time for them to see it. It would be the beginning of the reckoning. The beginning of a new era. The dawn of a QUEEN.
