"Wha.....what? There is no way in hell I'm gonna be his partner" I blurted out loudly.
"Ms.Chloe Louise I think I have made myself clear"said the teacher with a commanding voice.
"Aren't you glad that your gonna get a chance to be my dance partner?" he said with a quirky smile.
"I guess someone's hallucinating" I said sternly.
By the time the teacher said that the due date to present our dance performance was next Monday which means we had only 1 week left.
"So when are we gonna start our practice?" I asked plainly.
"As per your wish 'Lil Muffin'." He said with a smile and left.
"Lil Muffin!" I repeated with a questioning look.
By the time the class got over and I went to my locker and grabbed my books for the art class and and headed off to my class.
The whole class went on smoothly without any drama.
At present I was waiting for Elena to show up so that we could go home.
Few minutes later Elena came up and we went home.
"It feels good to be home." I said to Elena.
"yeah" she said with an agreeing tone.
Later I went upstairs and changed into my Pyjamas and started reading novel.
Few hours later I got a message from an unknown number.
#Unknown: Hey What's up Lil Muffin!!!
"Lil Muffin?.... Freak!!! that's the jerk" I said with frustration.
#Chloe: From where the hell did you get my phone number?
#Zach_the_jerk: Who do you think I'm Lil Muffin!!! I'm Zach.... Zachary Anderson, I get what I want.
#Chloe: Whoever you are Zach or Zachary Anderson the great, for me you are always a jerk.
#Zach_the_jerk: Listen Lil Muffin!!! I just wanna know when are we gonna start our project!!! If you don't wanna do the project I'm totally OK with it because I don't really care about marks.
#Chloe: But I do care about marks a lot, so we are gonna practice from tomorrow.
#Zach_the_jerk: As you wish.
Good Night Lil Muffin!!!
"Lil Muffin!!! my foot."
I kept my cellphone aside and went to sleep. I wanted to have a good sleep because my very first day in my new school was filled with a whole lot of drama.
#Next day morning #
"Good morning babe" I said with excitement.
"Very Good Morning" said Elena, while drinking coffee.
We had our breakfast and headed off to college. The first two classes went on very well.
At present we were in the cafeteria having our lunch, when suddenly Zach enters the cafeteria and starts moving towards me with his signature smirk.
"Hey Lil Muffin!!! How you doing?" he asked me with a smiley face.
"I was totally fine till you arrived" I said sarcastically.
"So where are we gonna practice in your place or my place?"
"Mm.... I think it's better if we stay back here in college after the classes and then practice in the auditorium."
"Sure." he said and then left the cafeteria.
#Zach's POV#
So the real game starts now my dear Lil Muffin.
As I told you earlier I don't really care about marks,
On the project submission day I'm gonna humiliate you in front of the whole school in such a way that you may even quit the school.
#Chloe's POV#
After the classes I was waiting for Zach in the auditorium, few minutes later he came to the auditorium.We did a fusion of some latest songs and started practicing.
For my surprise Zach had some great and unique moves. This continued for the whole week and we were done with our practices.
#Monday morning#
Monday I got up with a vibe of 'I have got the moves babe'.
I had a quick shower and got dressed within few minutes and went down with my backpack.
"Woah!!Woah!! Someone's really excited!!" says Elena.
"Damn Yes!!!" I said happily.
I had my breakfast quickly and left to school a bit early. I was very much excited for this day. My only aim was to get first place in this Dance Project.
As soon as I reached the school I received a text message from Zach saying the he will meet me in the auditorium.
Few hours later the program started and everyone rushed towards the auditorium.
As I went to the auditorium I was searching for Zach. My eyes travelled the whole Auditorium and at last it landed on Zach. I went near him and sat beside him.
"Someone's nervous!!!" he said with his usual quirky smile.
"No I'm not" I said sternly.
But on a serious note I was a bit nervous because this was my first dance performance in Cristo Rey High School.
"So now we will have our final contestants, Zachary Anderson and Chloe Louise on stage please" says the host of the program.
I went up to the stage with Zach beside me.
My heart started beating so hard. I had a very different feeling. The whole school started clapping for us.
Then the music starts and we start dancing as if no one's watching us. We twirled and whirled for the beats of the music. I was totally lost in his ocean blue eyes during the whole dance.
As soon as the Dance got over we came down from the stage. Zach left the auditorium without even saying a word. I felt it was kind of weird.
Now the host came up to the stage with the names of the the winners in his hand.
I wanted to win this competition very badly.
"So my dear students any gusess who are the winners of today's competition?" the host asks excitedly.
Most of them in auditorium mentioned my and Zach's name which made me smile.
I was hoping for the best.
