"Hey Ruhi, pass on the ball to me please", shouted Swasti from the basketball court, Ruhi promptly threw the ball towards Swasti. Ruhi and Swasti were classmates since 3rd grade and they bonded well, they weren't really friends until the 11th grade and always had an on and off relationship, talking today and not existing for each other tomorrow. In the 11th grade Ruhi and Swasti happened to have taken up the same stream PCB (Medical) without maths which meant they had all the classes together including Physical Education and that is when they started to sit in the same group of friends and started bonding with each other. The bonded the most when Ruhi had gone through an emotional phase and everybody including Swasti had supported her a lot in getting through it.
"Ruhi you should play too man, it was fun playing today, you missed it" said Swasti as the bell rang and they started going towards their Classroom. "I would have yaar but you know how painful day 2 is right.? and moreover the sun seems like it's going to suck out all the blood from my body, consider me dead", replied Ruhi. Ruhi was the emotional kind and had a lots of broken friendships and a long list of boys who betrayed her although she wasn't in a relationship with all of them but still this way or that all she has ever got was betrayal.
" So did you find someone? " asked Swasti curiously, " Nope I'm out of all this non sense man, ultimately everyone wants my body and not me and they'll stay because I'm not giving away my virginity just like that, and you know what they don't even want my body it's just a ball of fat, what they exactly want is these large assets hanging on this ball of fat", replied Ruhi filled with disgust. " Okay okay calm down machhli, here have some water and sit down" said Swasti and passed in the bottle to Ruhi, who took the bottle and started gulping down water. Ruhi was called machhli by everyone because she was a begali and one of the staple food of bengalis is fish.
Once Ruhi was done drinking water she passed the bottle back to Swasti and sat on the chair like she is going to pass out any minute now and then she'll sleep for what you call an eternity. "Swasti, are you prepared for the biology test, I'm not going to teach you last moment, I swear, so you better be responsible now" said Ruhi frowning "Arey baba I have you and I'll copy from your sheet and I understand all the mood swings and shit, I love you machhli" said Swati smiling and hugging Ruhi to which she only smile and hugs her back.
" Accha Ruhi I have been single for too long now, unlike you I want someone with me, set me up with someone, please? maybe?" said Swasti and smiled like a 5 year old kid, " OK.!! I'll try" said Ruhi thinking about the possible people with whom she can set Swasti up with. " How about Sudhanshu? " asked Ruhi out of no where, "No please he is scary and he is into weed and stuff, he is sort of a bad boy, he is more of your type ans not mine" Replied Swasti with a grin, after a moment of pause they both burst out laughing.
