"What are you doing?" Matt asks
"Putting out the lights." I say
"Why?" He's puzzled by my actions.
"I want to show you something. Just sleep at the same time I turn off my bedroom lights." I explain, walking out of his room. He stops me for a kiss, but then I'm out.
Back in my room, I lie down on my bed, switch off the lights, and close my eyes, thinking hard of how badly I want Creevey in my dream. When I wake up in the forest, he's there. He looks around in awe.
"Woah!" He whispers as I stand beside him.
"Yeah,"
"You made this?" He asks in admiration. I shrug.
"Wow. I'm so honored to be able to see this super power of yours in play."
I smile and take him to all my favorite spots. As we sit by the lake, our feet dangling, he says, excitedly, "The water's not wet! Or cold. Or warm. It's so weird!"
I grin. "I know!"
"I wanna try something." I tell him, then close my eyes tight and concentrate hard, thinking of butterflies and their touch and their coloring, their breath, them filling this place.
I hear a gasp, and open my eyes excitedly, only to see a single pigeon.
I look so disappointed that Matt guffaws, then says earnestly, "It's incredible!"
He hugs me and we go to sleep in our dream, hand in hand, pigeon flapping around us in joy.
