"What did you say?!" Xiara Sarmiento who is now getting furious, shouted at her phone.
[We tried to do our best. Sorry, but we can't. We should accept the fact that our company... isn't able to survive] The woman said over the phone. She could not help but to throw her phone out of frustration.
'This can't be. Our company, my company. Grandpa gave his blood and sweat for this company and now they are telling me that it's the end?' She thought.
Xiara Sarmiento immediately dialed her friend who now has a successful and well known business in the whole country.
[Xiara? Do you have any problems?] Sonya Madrigal on the other phone asked.
"Sonya, can you help me? Accompany me anywhere. Let's go for a shopping? Salon? You pick." Xiara Sarmiento suddenly think that it is better to relax first so that she could think clearly of a better plan about the company's bankruptcy.
[Why so sudden, huh? Let's talk about it later. Let's meet at the mall. I'll send you the location] Then she hung up. Xiara Sarmiento sighed in relief, as if she found someone whom she can rely on.
Little did she know, the snake had already bitten her[1]

Xia Sarmiento was currently preparing for lunch. She already finished unpacking her things and cleaning her own room. Later on, boredom had hitted her. She got up from her bed and charge her phone before walking downstairs.
People were busy cooking in the kitchen and she noticed that the table was not yet served. Even if it's too early for lunch, she prepared it anyways.
She stride towards the garden. Inhaling it's beautiful smell, she sat on the bench. She picked some flowers and watch as the water continuously falls on the fountain.
'Flowers are beautiful, they are shining together with either if it's the sun or the moon.' She suddenly remembered the quote saying, 'Love and like can be differentiate by picking a flower. If you like a flower, you will pick it. But if you really love it, you will take care of it until it grows'.
She suddenly felt guilty by picking the flowers, she quietly returned the flower from where she picked it. She laughed thinking about her crazy action.
Then again, she stared at the water endlessly falling from the fountain.
'Aren't this waters tired with their lives? Falling repeatedly?' She thought. She shook her head thinking that she is having her second illness, and that is her craziness.

1 [The snake had already bitten her] is a filipino phrase 'Tinuklaw ka na ng ahas', used when a person is looking for something or someone not knowing that the answer is already on his/her front. 'The snake had already bitten you but you cannot still see it'
To me, it states that you are either blind, lack of common sense (too harsh), or absentminded lol. The phrase doesn't state anything bad like 'snake persons who stole boyfriends' lol, just purely an animal snake.
Geez, when I read the english phrase, I almost think that Sonya Madrigal is a snake antagonist planning something bad against Xiara Sarmiento ahaha. (Xiara Sarmiento is Xia's mother)
