Lilac didn't need Tordoff to show her the way to Jedrek, because she could feel it through the vibration beneath her feet, and just their vicious roars were loud enough to lead her to their current location.
Lilac ran as fast as she could with Tordoff following right behind her. Turning from one corridor to another, Lilac rushed across the small garden, where she had tended to all the plants and bloomed flowers, regardless of the natural season for them to bloom.
The two of them dashed toward the backyard garden, which strangely didn't have any guards around that area. Apparently, Jedrek had planned everything beforehand. He had sent every guard away.
It was impossible to think that no one could hear this loud commotion and came to check about what was happening.
Another roar and whimper.
Lilac felt like her heart was bursting. She had been running non- stop, not even halting to catch her breath.
