Serefina's face darkened the moment she heard that. It was something that she didn't want to remember. For it was a dark topic that should never be touched, about a moment from her past that she had buried deep in the back of her mind. Serefina had nothing to say for what the guardian angel just said. Instead, she abruptly stood up, and was about to leave the room. But Raine kept on asking her.
"How are you still alive now? I clearly saw it with my own eyes, that you were dead then." With her eyes, Raine followed the way where the witch moved. "What happened to you then?"
"That is none of your business!" Serefina said those words through her gritted teeth. She looked as dangerous as ever with her eyes that were glaring straight at the girl. As if it would work to make Raine stop asking, and drop the topic.
