"Where were you?" Hari asked as I returned home.
"Oh, hey… I was just…" I left the sentence incomplete.
"You're acting so weird, these days" he said as I opened the door. We both made ourselves comfortable on the sofa.
"Why are you wet and muddy? Is that lipstick marks?" he asked, after scanning me.
"You wait here, let me take a bath" I said, ignoring his question.
I came back after a shower to find, Hari holding my phone. "What the hell is this?" he yelled at me.
"Hari, bro, I was about to tell you"
"Tell me what?"
"We are back, together,…again" I said and a sound of slap covered room.
"Are you crazy? How can you do that you asshole?" he was angry. I cover my cheeks in pain.
"What could I've done. This silence were killing me, I missed her so much. I wanted her back so badly. And she love me too" I tried for an explanation.
"Shut up you idiot. She is a snake and snakes never belongs to anyone. Have you forgot what she have done to you? How can you still love her after all this?" he was furious. "I'm done with you Shrey… you have to make a decision. Either it should be me, or her. We both cannot stay with you, in your life." he said and left the room.
I fell back to sofa, silent. Closed my eyes and the past started to rewind itself…
