Catherine's POV
Even though, at that moment, I worried about James, Jeb could not be unseen. "I have a surprise for you. I have shifted here and we can meet more often now." "Did your brother also shift? Man he is one entertaining person. I would love to play video games with him the way we used to play before." "My parents got divorced and I will be staying here with mom. James will not be staying with us." I answered with a tear in my eye. He hugged me as tight as he could.
Jeb was one of the people whom I could talk to freely even if we met after years. I have 3 best friends now, Sarah, Adrienne and Jeb. Jeb and I had lost the connection after high school but the girls made sure to be there when I needed. "Jeb, I have Sarah an Adrienne for dinner tonight. So, would like to join us?" I heard an affirmative answer from Jeb.
I rushed home to tell mom about Jeb. Mom treated Jeb like family so she was very happy to hear about him coming for the dinner. I ran upstairs as my phone rang. It was James. "Did you reach safely? Is everything ok there? Do you feel like coming back?" His questions were so quick that I couldn't answer. "Relax James, everything is fine here. Don't worry. Also do you remember Jeb?" "Yes. Why what happened?" "I ran into him today and he wanted to play video games with you. Unfortunately I had to tell him everything." "Oh! I would definitely want to meet him." "James listen. Don't trouble dad ok? My exams will be starting from next week so I won't be able to talk to you every day." "Aye Aye Captain! I will talk to you later. Bye. I love you!" "I love too James. Bye." I had complete faith in James. I knew he wouldn't trouble dad.
James's POV
Damn! I forgot to ask her about today's dinner. It's Ok. Let her be with Jeb and Sarah and Adrienne. I'll call her tomorrow.
