Chapter 1 - CHAPTER:1 PROLOGUE

My heart thudded in my chest as if it would come out any second! Beads of sweat trailed down my forehead, and I gulped .I could hear his maniacal cackle just behind me.

"Tsk Tsk ..Come to me darling!!..He laughed again. And then grew impatient…And screamed "You are mine!!I will come for you ND I didn't doubt that as his eyes were laced with a promise so dark and lethal and that sinister smile made it clear that it wasn't an empty threat. So I ran as fast as my sprained ankle could take me. But it was a matter of time till he caught me.

"Found you!!."His voice sent tremors down my spine .AND I Woke up. I looked at my surroundings to assure myself that I was safe in the confines of my four walls. My entire body was drenched in sweat and my heart was thundering in my bossom. I looked up at the watch and sighed, it showed five minutes past four. There was nothing new about the situation, this had been my consistent routine for the past seven years, doesn't matter how tired or worked up I am .I removed the comforter and stepped out of the bed. The coldness of the marbled floor engulfed me as I walked towards the mirror and glanced up at my reflection. Dull grey eyes stared back at me, there was nothing I found appealing about myself except my stature of 5'10 ft. I Sighed and turned around to change into my tank top and tracks. I walked out of my house and decided to take the forest path.AS I ran my pace increased and the wind whipped past my face .All the memories came back flooding back to me as I exerted myself more than the limit to get rid of the pain. It was a matter of time until my legs gave up and I crashed down .The weather had turned stormy just the way I liked it. I found my solace in it. It was like my thoughts being potrayed in front of me. But I needed to pull myself together before I lose the reign over my sanity. I took a breath and opened my eyes and just like every other day stood up to face another day.
