Sim want to refrain from making trouble, but this group of boys trying to ruin that promise. And sim make a way to escape, but a girl stood in front of him saying to the group of boys " You damn ass, why you always make trouble in this University, I will call the teachers if you don't stop" while holding a book. Then the group boys argue with the girl with insulted words but a teacher came by and they walk. Then sim asked the girl "what is your name?", the girl walk fast saying " We will meet again and that day I will answer your question.
The next morning he wake-up and get dress but he remember the girl that stand in front of him. He then smile and his uncle saw him suddenly say " Is their anyone who makes you smile?" and he answered " nothing uncle just I remember something ". And they eat while talking, and sim saw the clock it is already 6:30 am, then wash his dishes and he took the hand of his uncle then put it in his forehead (mano) with respect to his uncle. And he walk straight to the door saying " I will be going uncle and I will be late this afternoon" and his uncle reply "OK, but don't forget what I told you, the city is dangerous than you thought" as his uncle done with his breakfast and ready to work. At the front of the school, there are many student, different environment of what he has in the provinces. They conversely talking to their friends and classmates but he just walk in straight.
And he now at his classroom, then he see the girl who stand in front of him that day and then walk at that girls table and said his name " Hai I'm Sim Conner" and the girl reply " and I'm Akira Nelson, nice to meet you " while his classmate staring at him jealously because Akira is a beautiful woman, with sweet smile and a perfect face, she has long hair with a shiny color of gold with matching skin as white as snow, And she is the student Government president of the university, also the outstanding student in the institution.
That's why many of his classmate stare at him, and then the teacher came saying " student put your self prepare and will start our discussion, I'm your teacher for English subject". Sim seated at the back of Akira but he staring at Arika. And the teacher ask a question, Arika raised her hand and answer the question. The dean came in while calling the student at the door " I introduced your new classmates, he is from France, Italy". He introduce his self to the class while looking at Akira " I'm Gian Ricci Cruz, a half Filipino ( father ) and half italian (mother ), 18 years old, and I enrolled here because of the business trip of my father here in the Philippines. I hope we will be friends". While Akira didn't look at him, and all the girls in our class making noise because of Gian who is handsome, gentleman, and Rich. And then teacher talk " Okey Gian look over their a set" " Yes ma'am ". And he sat behind Akira, to be appreciated but Akira didn't even give a hints, for a long lecture Gian walk straight at me, then introduce him self and told me if I know Akira, and I answer that I didn't know exactly who she is, because we just meet a couple of times. And I walk to the door and go home but in the middle of the road I saw Akira in the forest not far from uncles house. And I follow her, suddenly a scream come out in the spot of where she stood up, and run fast as I can to help her, then when I got at the spot of where I saw her standing, I see him hanging in the cliff and a snake crawling beside him. And she scream asking for help, I walk fast then grab his hand, when I pull her we fell at the ground and a silence for a minutes, while watching his pretty face in front of my face ,then he tickled me and saying" thank you for saving my life". And the rain fall like a blessing for two of them.
