Brian walked through the streets, carrying his backpack along with him as he hummed to himself. He turned a corner, being confronted by a group of men. The boy just glared at them, and then the group moved in on the young boy, trying to trample him but he couldn't be moved. The men got scared and ran away. He smiled brightly and continued walking, rocking his head side to side as he did so. As he walked across the path, he walked past someone he thought looked like him and stopped, raising a brow at the boy he passed.
The boy stared back at Brian and smiled, chuckling before the man pulled the boy aside. Brian shrugged it off and continued walking once more, this time he wasn't humming, but muttering vulgar words. Brian had a short temper and reached a lake. He sat by the lake and sobbed, hugging his knees. Brian yelled, seemingly cursing God. He didn't understand why his parent's were taken from him at such a young age. Brian was traumatized and couldn't handle all of this stress placed on his shoulders at the young age of 13. It was so irritating to be a loner.
He clenched his stomach and slammed his fist on the ground, causing the wind pressure to make a cater. Brian coughed up blood and yelled again "Why am I so strong?!" at the time, the young boy saw this power as a burden, given to him just to add more problems. He didn't have a home ever since he lost his home to those men. He wanted revenge, but he didn't know where he could find them; so that was out of the question. Brian picked his backpack back up and walked back down the path, closing his eyes and humming.
He walked up the side of a building and to the edge of it, and sat and thought to himself, "Why do I feel so... empty?" Brian looked up into the sky. Someone came up behind Brian and placed their hand on his shoulder, sighing. Brian jumped back, started before he glared at the woman. "Hello, Brian. My name is Ming," Ming smiled at him "How do you know my name?" Brian scoffed "I was a friend of your father's. If you come with us, we can help you. Would you like to help us?" She gave a reassuring smile back.
Brian went silent for a moment, thinking about his decision and then turned back to Ming "Fine," She nodded, "Come," She gestured. Brian followed her to a helicopter and got on it "What can you even help me with?" Brian folded his arms "We can help you control your powers. Because we are certain that you have more than just one or two," She sighed "Okay. Are there more people like me there?" Brian leaned back "Yes, superhuman beings who we are working to make their powers and them one, so they can control them," She seemed to keep that smile.
He sighed and rubbed his head. They eventually arrived and showed Brian to his room. He placed his backpack on the desk and glared at a glass case, with a green hooded jacket inside. Brian seemed to love the jacket, probably because it used to be his father's but also because it could hold his true strength and not be obliterated. Brian saw two beds and glared at the second one, which was covered in pink. A girl walked through the wall and into the room "Hey, I'm Jillian. My friends call me Jill," She stuck a hand out, smiling brightly.
Brian shook her hand "Brian Alsman," He rubbed his neck "Oh! You're the son of.. Nevermind..." Jillian seemed to feel bad for him so she shut up "This place is basically like a school, so you sleep, train, lunch and then we have time to hang out here," Jillian seemed to be fond of Brian already "Cool, I guess," Brian nervously chuckled "Oh! And we have this thing that we do every day after our free time is up where we spar with people and have to knock them out of the ring first," Jill jumped up excitedly and squealed happily.
"Lemme show you around!" She put her arm around him as they walked around, another boy walked up to them, a flame vanishing from his eye "Did you get into another fight, Jack?" She chuckled "Yeah, so what? Is this the new kid? I heard he was Texan too," Jack stuck his hand out "Jack Reid, or Wrath," He grinned. Brian shook his hand "You guys already have code names?" Brian shook his hand "Yeah. I'm Ghost," Jill pumped her fist into the air "Maybe you have the same power as your dad?" Jack scratched his head "We'll see," Ming snickered.
The time sparring came around, Brian volunteered to go first and won by throwing his opponent out of the ring faster than the match could start. Everyone was so surprised when Brian won the whole thing by using more than one power "I think I know what Brian's codename will be," Jack groaned in pain "Tell me," Jill was fascinated by this. Jack glared at Brian and chuckled "Welcome aboard, Infinity," Brian glared back and finally smiled for the first time "Sure, Wrath," Brian seemed to get joy out of friends and being strong now. The very next day, Brian prepared.
He got out onto the field with that jacket, dodging the giant robots and destroying them with extreme power. Brian yelled in joy, his jacket flowing because he was moving so fast that he was a blur. It took Brian 8.56 seconds to destroy all of those mechs, all with a single punch. Everyone was so impressed by Brian's raw power and sheer will. It seemed that Jill was in love with Brian, but refused to tell him. Jack noticed this and decided to secretly tell him without JIll's permission. Brian was surprised and decided he would tell Jill how he felt about her.
