[ Host, in this world power level of the humans and monsters are measured in level and humans live in protection zones created by few high level human mages and monsters are everywhere outside of the safe zone. there are also some humans who train their bodies and minds to increase their levels and they hunts the monsters by going out side of the safe zone and these humans are called HUNTERS .
As per the reason for the hunt by hunting monsters they can level up further and also acquire some valuable loot from monster's corpse. And this situation continued for decades and soon HUNTER GUILDS established. which recruits capable hunters. And also gives then grades according to their achievements, lowest grade that is beginner hunter is grade-10 and grades increases till grade-1 hunter in few cases even S-grade . And there are some HUNTER SCHOOLS which trains hunters who are at an starting age of 12 years and gives HUNTER LICENCE and this is the reason why system reverted your age to 12 years. Because without a HUNTER LICENCE you can't become a hunter ]
