The next days, both prince Gabriel and Genevive always went to the library to spend their time. Now Genevive heard that the Prince wouldn't visit due to an urgent call in the Palace. She had grown tired of practicing her martial arts and reading so she went to the music room to play the pianoforte.
The servants were all shocked because they knew that the lady Genevive never played any musical instruments. If she did it would be terrible. It has been a long time since anyone entered the place so the maids hurriedly cleaned it up. They expected their miss would yell at them the moment she entered.
But contrary to their expectations, the little lady just went straight to the pianoforte and sat down.. At first they prepared for the possibility that they were gonna get scolded but now they prepared to cover their ears. But it seemed as if the heavens were constantly turning tides upside down.
Genevive came to the pianoforte with a calm expression. She didn't dare show any admiration towards this work of art because it would surely rise suspicion. Inside her heart, she praised and loved the instrument. It was painted white with gilded sides and what stunned her the most was the beautiful design of a Rose. A white Rose. And some other designs that seemed too real. A White Rose was the Family crest although in secret. The white rose was the secret family crest that the Rosse family hid from the entire world. A white rose meant a lot of things to the family. A white rose represents purity, but it can be dyed with different colors. that was why the Rosse family chose to hide the crest.
The Family Emblem was a Golden Rose and the thorns were visible but decorated with neat designs that made the thorns somewhat unnoticeable. It was placed on the far side of the instrument. The pianoforte was one of the most valuable instrument in the Rosse Family as it was the first instrument an ancient ancestor had carved and made himself.
As Genevive coaxed a note from the pianoforte the servants readied themselves for the pain in their ears. Some even scrunched their faces.
Genevive played one her favorite songs from her old world Flight of the Bumblebee which shocked everyone in the room. Genevive didn't pay any attention to the servants as she was enjoying her song. It has already been a week and three days since she came to this world. And its already been a year since she ever touched an instrument. That didn't include the time that Luke forced her to play for him at his house. With that Beautiful fave of his.. Who would be so hearyless not to give in..
After she was finished with her song she thought of an idea.
"Jean, what do you think of the song?"
Jean whose mouth was currently hanging corrected her composure and answered
"Miss you played beautifully." She said really admiring her miss.
Genevive smiled and said "Thank you, but could you please hand me some writing materials? I'd like to make a piece of music."
This of course shocked everyone in the room but Lotte handed the little miss what she needed and Genevive thanked her.
Genevive sighed and started writing the notes while she coaxed music from the pianoforte.. She only stopped when it was time for lunch.
Genevive was set on making music that she didn't notice anyone coming.
***
Prince George was the one who came here since his brother was busy and his father said he had to visit the little lady as gis twin brother cannot come for the time being. He had no choice. He arrived at the Castle gate. When he arrived at the door he suddenly heard a sound from a pianoforte inside the castle. He bacame curious and asked the butler. The sound of the pianoforte stopped between intervals as if one was Making music and he hadn't heard that piece either.
"Whose the one playing?" He asked in a cold tone just like his brother he hid his curiousity though.
"It's the little miss, your highness" The butler also seemed doubtful but he spoke the truth.
"Since when did she learn how to play?" Now he was intrigued. He knew as he was a prince and the future brother-in-law of the young lady that she didn't like playing and she was terrible at it.
"I don't know your majesty, she just went there and automatically played the song.." Also confused
Prince George was lead into the music room and he didn't even bother knocking he just waited at the open door.
Genevive was almost done with the music she written and she tried to create another unique combination. When she found it she wrote it, and it was done and she was so proud of herself.
"Ha! I finished it! Ahh. I'm so smart. Hehehe Now it's time to play it."
She was alone because Jean and the others excused themselves not wanting to disturb their young miss. Genevive then started to play the music she composed and the music was lively and cathchy. Although it was quite hard to play, she showed incredible skill playing it. Her skill cannot be compared with other professional musicians, since she was a genius at playing it. Then a cold voice suddenly came to her ears.
"I didn't know you can play that instrument." Prince George said.
'Oh shoot! A prince came.. I'm dead.. I'm really really dead.. They know I'm supposed to be terrible at this... Oh God what do I do?! It's okay. It's okay. Stay calm stay calm.."
She turned around only to find Prince Gabriel's twin brother
"Prince George-I mean Your highness, what are you doing here?" She was startled yes but she quickly regained her calm. The fear she had around the princes slowly decreased due to spending time with prince Gabriel almost everyday.
"To visit the sick." He answered coldly.
One sentence and Genevive could already guess. 'His father sent him here.'
Apparently everyone knew how the cold hearted, Stone blocked princes' would visit anyone. Because of either their mother or their father. Both princes rarely go out and they rarely interacted. Every at parties, the only persons they interacted with were their parents and each other. Even their cousins hadn't got any chances to speak with them.
"Ah.. So I suppose the King sent you to visit me instead of prince Gabriel.. Am I right your highness?"
He didn't say anything and nodded. There were only a few seats in the music room since it had not been used for a long time. So the prince sat at a chair near the violin and cello.
"I thought you were terrible in playing instruments?"
With that question directly thrown at her. Genevive's face grew a little dark.
'Damn it! Why? Why!?
"Uhm.. I.. I was just playing around your majesty.." She forced a smile on her face. Hoping the prince wouldn't notice, but who was she kidding?
"Don't lie Lady Genevive, I can clearly tell when your lying." The prince said coldly.
"I'm sorry your highness." She lowered her head and offered a sincere curtsy and stayed in her position. She didn't dare raise her head she wasn't ready to court death..
