"So if you're not a bastard, what are you? Your mother secretly gave birth to you before she was able to live with your father. Your mother is nothing but a common girl. How could she possibly be involved with Edward? In that case, who knows who your real father is? I bet it's not Edward." Jessica was so pissed off that she completely forgot Edward's warning. She turned all her rage into insulting Justin and his mother.
"You're wicked! Don't talk about my mommy like that! You are the shameless and disgraceful one, not my mommy! I'll make you regret it if you say one more word about my mommy!" Justin clenched his little fists in rage, his eyes filled with anger. He could stand it when people spoke ill of him, but he would never tolerate it when people insulted his mother. Though he was just a little boy, he was quite a good fighter; and he would fight for his mother's reputation.
"Are you threatening me, you little bastard? What can you do to me? Filthy bastard delivered by your slut mother! You're just a tool that your mother uses to get access to Edward!" Screaming hysterically with her finger pointing at Justin, Jessica was desperate. How come Edward adored this brat and didn't even claim the one inside her?
Have your own child and then argue with me! Oh, I forgot. You'll never have the chance." Justin said it between his gritted teeth, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't care less about Jessica; she was dead to him when she insulted his mother like that. The only reason that he hadn't attacked her was because she was an elder, and it would be his fault if something happened.
"Haha! Sorry to disappoint you. But I'm actually carrying your father's child now." Jessica smirked while gently stroking her belly. Score 1 for Jessica!
"No, you're lying! I don't believe you! You can't have my daddy's child. You're only saying that to make me angry!" Justin cried out loudly; he dashed forward, grabbed Jessica's hand and shook it violently. It couldn't be true! His daddy only belonged to him and his mommy. He didn't want any siblings, unless they were Daisy and Edward's children.
"Get off me! Why should I lie to you? Ask your daddy if you don't believe me." Jessica suddenly withdrew her hand. Not expecting her sudden move, Justin lost his balance and fell to the floor, butt first. Jessica looked down at his pale face and couldn't help smirking again.
"Justin, are you okay?" Luke hurried forward to help Justin up. He dusted Justin off and double-checked to make sure that he was not injured. He then turned around and glared at Jessica with his icy cold eyes.
"Jessica, Mr. Mu may not hit you out of respect, but I'm not him. I'm warning you; if you dare to cross me, I'll make you suffer for the rest of your life." Every word came out of Luke's mouth was steeped in rage. 'How dare she attack a little kid?' In Luke's eyes, everyone Edward cared about was important to him as well. He would do anything to protect them, no matter who the enemies were and what would happen to him.
"Luke, you're just a bodyguard. How dare you talk to me like that?" Jessica had never taken Luke seriously. She didn't think a servant would dare to hurt her.
"Yo! Isn't that Miss Jessica? I heard that Lin Group is a complete mess. How come you're biting around in front of our offices? Do you have rabies? Well, that's not good. How about you go to the hospital and get your shots first? Otherwise animal control might take you back to the pound before you get home."
Rain curled his lips into a devilish smile at Jessica. Though he was smiling, his voice was as cold as ice. Luke was indeed Edward's bodyguard, but he was more like a brother to Edward and his friends. They wouldn't stand by while Jessica insulted him.
"Rain! Show some respect! Who are you calling a dog?" Jessica shuddered in fury. She and this man had never gotten along, and he picked on her every time they met. Jessica wouldn't even talk to him if he wasn't one of Edward's friends.
"Calm down, Miss Jessica. When did I call you a dog? When did I even use the word 'dog'? But, Miss Jessica, if the shoe fits, then you should wear it." Rain continued with a shrug. He couldn't win quarreling with Belinda, but it didn't mean he couldn't handle a phony woman like Jessica.
"Haha! Uncle Rain, you are so mean! I love it!" Justin felt much better. He had decided he wouldn't let Jessica hurt his mommy. As for the baby inside her, he had to ask Edward first. Justin was not stupid, Jessica could have been putting on an act, trying to break up his mommy and daddy.
"I learned from the master, your Auntie Belinda. Remember not to swear. Just be polite, and mean at the same time. Got it?" Ignoring Jessica, Rain crouched down and told Justin, his head waving up and down as he spoke. His sapphire ear studs reflected the sunlight and stabbed Jessica's eyes.
"You.. You.." Jessica's face grew paler, her voice shaking in fury. Fine! Now every one thought she was an easy target. 'Go ahead and laugh as much as you want! There will be enough time for you to cry and beg for my mercy, because I will be the winner at the end of this game!' Jessica thought to herself.
Oh. Miss Jessica, you're still here? I thought you left for the vet. Sorry we didn't see you. Never mind us. Your physical health is much more important than chatting with us. What do you think?" Rain put on a sincere face as he talked to Jessica. He looked right into her eyes to show that he was not joking. However, the words that spilled from his mouth made Jessica want to slap him.
"Uncle Rain is right. You should go to the doctor before it's too late." Justin added sincerely with an innocent and sweet smile. Jessica clenched her fists so tight that the blue veins of her arms popped up. She came all the way to the FX International Group, but all Edward gave her was heartbreak. And now this?
I'll make you pay for what you said. Just wait and see! Jessica glared at them again before leaving. The dress and high heels made her look like a whore rather than a pregnant woman.
I'll wait, do you need a ride to the doctor's? Jessica almost fell as she heard Justin's words. She paused for a moment to calm herself before getting into her car and driving away.
You're being evil again, little boy. Rain gently touched Justin's nose and smile dotingly.
Uncle Rain, where have you been? Justin beamed at Rain. They had just tamed up and driving away an appalling woman. That something worth celebrating.
Well, where I was had something to do with that woman. Come on, let's go upstairs. It's roasting out here. Rain had no interest in standing in burning sunlight.
Okay, how about you uncle Luke? Are you going out? Or going up with us? Justin asked politely. He didn't forget that Luke stood up for him earlier. So he put on his best manners and his sweetest smile.
