The Forgotten Ruins specified the exclusion of all types of external weapons in the realm. So Kiel could not bring his sword, nor any needles in the realm. However, from the looks of it, it seemed that it did not prove any hindrance yet. These lifeless things also didn't provide much of a challenge. So he could still use them for a little challenge?
In his two weeks of rehab, Kiel had discovered something about his gravikinesis. He could store a large amount of the gravitational potential energy acting on him within him at any instance he wanted, activate it later on, and even transfer it to something else. However, it was more of theory as he didn't have the proper props for the experiment then, also the prying eyes constantly viewing him every moment.
Diving straight down, to prove his theory, Kiel adjusted the acceleration of gravity acting on him a little to increase the speed of his free fall. And it was a pretty easy thing to do for him now. In other words, turning himself into a version of Human Kinetic Weapon.
But did it look like a suicide to jump own from a four-storey building? After all the force from the impact would be enough to take his life.
It certainly would be in the previous earth. However here, there was an extra variable to take into account. One of the variables was it was not done by a dumb individual without the knowledge of a bit of science but rather someone with the full knowledge of what he was going to undertake.
GROWL!
As Kiel reached nearer to them, something seems to be triggered inside the zombies. They grew excited stretching their rotten arms, like competing with each other to see who could be the first one to get their hands on the easy prey.
"I am a prey now huh?"
However just as Kiel was about to come into contact with the hands, something unexpected happened. The boy in front of the zombies suddenly turn into a blur. This made the zombies disoriented a little. But by the time the zombies could get what actually happened, it was too late.
A sudden gust of wind came crashing down at them almost instantaneously blowing them all to smithereens by the sheer impact.

[Beep…. YOU have killed a Hostile zombie puppet. Acquired 10 kill points
Remaining Kill Points: 1728.
Survival Points: 200]
A log of notifications ringing upon Kiel's ears indicating that the kill points were received.
Looking around, you could find him stuck to the wall on the first floor of the same building. Yup, he was there literally sticking vertically to the building.
What he actually did was change his direction in the mid-air by influencing the gravity around him and the wall behind to increase, resulting in him to be pulled to the wall at a breakneck speed. However, instead of losing all the energy of the gravity acting on him during free fall, he just transmitted it to the air particles below him before increasing his centre of gravity's attraction to the wall near him.
Surprisingly all of this didn't create a new move and were all registered as a part of Gravity Manoeuvre. And he had to figure this out all by himself. When he asked Azrael why it didn't tell him about it, Azrael's reply was [Host! The system is not your Teacher. It is just a part of you.] And did it fucking make all the sense of boy!
As the dust cleared around, Kiel could get a clear view of all the zombies almost near him resulting in sweat beads coming all over this body.
[Host! Was that worth the risk?? Gravity could be checked other ways too!]
Was that all a risky thing? Hell, it was! Kiel was sweating even now. Even a small mistake would be fatal. But he was not dumb. He already did all the simulations before taking action, not waiting for fortune to show itself. Kiel had already activated Tranquility before this very venture.
"System nothing can beat first-hand experience! As you become an adult, it is the first thing you learn."
It was because of this reason that many of the physicists, engineers and others in his previous world did everything they could to make a living moon base in the late 20th century, well aware of the fact that every moment there would just increase their death rate. And even Kiel was one of them. Ordinary people could never understand this passion that surpassed even life itself.
"And yeah it was worth it. After all, even my life is well worth the risk if I can prove my ideals"
It was the same when he saved Leon and also the same when he broke the wall. But let's leave the details of how he broke the wall for a future episode.
Kiel knew how much risk was required, and when to take it. Focusing on the grounds, now only five-six zombies still remained a little distance away who seemed to survive the blast.
"Azrael note down that blast was very centre focused. I have to spread it more for a much larger area effect radius."
[Acknowledged Host. Creating mental notes.]
There was not much happiness on his face instead of his achievements. It was just the beginning after all.
Cancelling Gravity Manoeuvre, he dived down on the ground. And after that, it was easy. Landing on the ground, he could easily handle the remaining zombies with his physical strength and speed alone.
It was when he just thrashed two zombies down.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
It felt like the earth-shaking for a moment at a distance.
Kiel could feel it strongly with his heightened instincts. He thrashed the third zombie down and looked in the direction from where the rumbling originated. It was the auditorium tower in the distance that he came from. The whole building seems to be shaking.
GROWWWWL!!!!!!
A spine chilling growl unlike the zombies spread through the whole atmosphere and the same chill that he felt before ran down his spine again. And in that moment Kiel experienced two contradictory emotions simultaneously. The chill of fear which was his instincts, and a familiar and deep sense of excitement to fight that strong from somewhere deep down. It was like the moment he accidentally activated the Seven Samsara Skill in the woods probably?
However, the rumblings along with the growl were there for just a second or two. And they vanished like they never existed. But he saw it clearly!
In the instance where he was a bit distracted, a zombie's hand scratched him on the neck waking him up his reverie. Kiel immediately ordered Azrael to check for any abnormality within him, however, from the looks, it was for nothing. But he still made her keep an eye on his internals for anything different.
"Damn! These things won't even let me see what is going on."
He finished his fight as quickly as possible to leave the spot he was on, for the zombies seemed to have a human radar on them. But he could not avoid a few scratches here and there in the process.
"Heck! Fighting multiple enemies in close combat is obviously a serious problem when they gang up on you and when you don't even have a proper weapon! Earlier I was just throwing stones, so I didn't notice it. But even these few zombies are a little overwhelming when they are up close. Looks like I really need to be careful and get that Mind Rune under the skill section from the system as soon as possible."

Of all the spells this one was the one which was perfect for combat. After all in this world without such laws and rules, a single mistake can cause you life. And you can't have your back all the time while focusing in the front. So when he saw that he could earn some free points from these dead things, obviously he had to take on the offer.
However, there were some more mind runes that really interested him. So he was confused…

This one really fascinated him too. And there were other similar database products on Herbs, Poison, Medications, Elements etc. And their price was similar too. So he had to think better about what he really needed now.
"But seeing that it is really true that I can store the Gravitational Potential Energy acting on me from my initial position for some time and even convert all of the -mgh- into kinetic energy instantaneously, instead of its conventional continuous conversion into Kinetic energy was indeed worth the risk. Later on, this will make for a pretty badass trump card"
[A/N: mgh- mass*gravity*height]
"Well, it's time to go! Azrael show the directions."
Kiel was in no hurry even with the commotion he felt a little ago; he walked leisurely among the maze-like streets again. Luckily he had his own map.
As he walked along his way, the sun too set down making the streets totally dark. However, there was a small white moon shining in the distance casting a soft silver rayon on the dark buildings. it would have been a very beautiful night if it was full of people. However, the loneliness just added more creepiness to the night.
A chilly wind was blowing all along and Kiel was strolled on with his hands behind his head. But he was still alert. After all these zombies had no magnetic lines to indicate their presence in the dark and maybe they could pop out of nowhere here. Hell, even the inanimate objects of this place didn't contain any magnetic energy which was rather unusual!!
All the magnetic lines here were greyed out. It was the first time he saw this colour in magnetic lines. So he could only deduce.
In the midst of his night saunter, he could say from the map he had, that he was not that far away from his destination, he had an hour or so still left.
"Azrael what was the difference between a mind rune and a mind glyph again by the way?"
[Host didn't I explain before?]
"Sorry I wasn't paying attention. Could you repeat that please!"
[They are actually one and the same in meaning. An ancient civilisation language of magic]
"Then why the different names?"
[Don't you have different words in different languages meaning the same thing? It's like that. It's more like, the civilisation which created it, and today's interpretation of it had become white different]
"Oh more like they don't know the language properly, so they interpret some words in their own sense?"
[Yes something like that!]
"But do they really have no difference? That sucks. It thought I could learn new things in the runes after Mom taught me how to read them. Well speaking about Mom, I wonder how she is?"
Kiel looked a bit sad thinking about his family… after all the things that happened to them. Poor guys!
[I don't know about her, but well if you really want a difference between them, then one person can have only one mind glyph ss you know, while on the contrary, the same person can have multiple mind runes inscribed on them, as long as they don't exhaust their mental capacity ]
"Yeah, I heard that one. But why is that?"
[It is because the Glyphs are in a state of semi-activation all time and take in more internal mana, so exhaust the mana capacity of any individual remarkably creating inefficiency; when the same can be done by reciting or casting spells.
Runes, on the other hand, can be activated or deactivated when desired. They have further, much more complex integral differences, but you have to find those on your own.]
"Oh, so youre saying that the people now can use the runes from previous ages as modified glyphs but due to their lack of knowledge in the subject, they couldn't figure out how to switch them off. So they can only remain switched on? Isn't that kind of idiotic? "
[Yea something like that. However, it isn't idiotic. They both have their respective pros and cons. And don't ask me about that. You can figure them out on your own.]
"Tch… stingy. I want to go to ask anyway. So how do you know about such things about the world? And can you tell me more?"
[Host They are in my database. But you don't have the necessary authority to know about such intricate details. The only thing you can do is figure them out slowly on your own. Don't rely on me too much. I may not be by your side always.]
"Tsk ok ok. Good joke by the way" Kiel was having a conversation to enlighten his mood in this creepy night when he heard a little horde of zombies a little distance away growling towards a two story large building looking like a museum. The building in itself looked a little odd. It was shorter than the other buildings and was more eye-catching. Much like it was meant to be noticed by others. The bricks were glowing in a dim blue hue in the dark night, indicating something different about it?
'Huh? Is someone in there?' Kiel activated his magnetic vision to see if his guess was right and he did notice strong magnetic fields coming from all around the building unlike the greyed out ones everywhere around. Maybe there were living people here?
Maybe it was made of magnets? Radiation. However, the place was a little bit away tk conclude anything frankly. So Kiel was unsure if there was anyone. However, it was very light. So he couldn't be sure if it was some other contestant. Or maybe some other zombie form?
GROWL GROWL! ??!!
"Crap they found me. Should I fight? I do need points... Nah, let's not waste energy in the night time. Otherwise, it may attract that thing. Although I want to fight it, night time is not the right time."
Seeing the zombies coming towards him, Kiel just used Gravity Manoeuvre to climb to the second floor of the building which the zombies could not reach. He then grabbed a pipe and jumped to the next building and so on to finally enter the odd building.
