"Hahaha..." laughed loudly a tall man with light red hair and sparkly silvery eyes. He wore a simple set of jeans and a white T-shirt, and at first sight looked relatively handsome, but the more you looked at his face the harder it would get to take your eyes off him.
"Here, you should have some fun too, Juan. " he continued laughing while handing a small bead to a small girl who looked no more than 1,50 meters tall. She was otherworldly cute with dark red hair and black puppy eyes.
"Let me me see, Cheng, let me see!" repeated twice the little girl, dressed in a pink kimono, as she extended her cute hands to grab the bead.
The moment she saw the whole scene, she started laughing cutely with one hand on her mouth.
Nobody would ever think that those two were actualy husband and wife, because the first impression they made was of a father and daughter.
And while they were laughing to their hearts content on one side of the room, there was a confused looking uncle Lee on the other side. "What are we going to do about these kids master? What was that red vortex on their foreheads?" asked he, without even stopping to take a breather.
"We have plenty of time Lee" Bai Cheng turned his head to the right as he said " I will explain everything once the kids wake up"

While Bai Ling's parents were laughing and chatting, Ash found himself standing near a tree. The scenery was beautiful and relaxing as there laid a small lake in the horizon. A beautifull, yet distorted orange disk could be seen as a reflection on it. This was the sun laying on a bed of blue and white. Everything else was greenery esept for a majestic mountain in the distance with infinite hight.
"Woke up from a strange dream just to be knocked down in another one. " said Ash, exasperated from the reality he lived in.
"Nobody told you to assault me" replied behind him a female's voice.
Turning back, Ash saw the elegant looking Bai Ling from the ceremonial day, pouting her lips while frowning at him like a little kid. She looked angrily at him.
"This girl is actualy very cute when she's angry" thought Ash, as he looked over at her. At her angry face, he instead started to act innocently. With one finger on his upper lip and tilting his head a little to the left, Ash asked "But how did little weak me manage to lift you with one hand?"
"Moron, if i didn't use the Light Fire Feather technique you would've noticed me. I only wish i didn't stop it in midair due to..." noticing what she was about to say Bai Ling stopped suddenly.
" Light Fire Feather?" confused at her nonsensical words Ash repeated after her.
After a second he continued "... Didn't stop it in midair due what? "
" N-nothing! " Bai Ling answered embarrassedly with a red face. She couldn't tell him that she was startled by his grab and lost focus, resulting in the 'little incident' that happened a while before. She didn't want to expose her family secrets to a mortal too.
Ash stared at her red face for a while, feeling that something was amiss. Not getting any answers, he stopped and let it go. He wasn't the type to bother people if they didn't want to share their feelings, secrets or pain.
"How long are we going to stay here? " Ash asked casualy.
Not knowing the answer to that question Bai Ling tilted her head to one side and lifted her showders.
'Awkward silence'
Ash went near the tree and sat. His back laid on the tree. "Sit" he said casualy while patting the ground next to him and looking at the beauty.
Not having anything to refuse him, Bai Ling laid calmly a meter next to Ash and they both looked at the sky while thinking of nothing.
Both knew it was a dream, but didn't know how to escape or what to do so the best desition was to wait.
While waiting for the dream to end, both the boy and the girl synchronised their minds and calmly fell asleep.

Waking up again Bai Ling noticed that she was drooling over Ash's chest and screamed.
She hastily pulled herself away and turned her head left and right so see if anyone saw the embarrassing scene.
" Dad, mom?" seeing her parents Bai Ling looked down. Her heart was racing from shock. " Why are you here" she murmured under her nose, almost inaudibly.
Waking up from the noise, Ash sat slowly on the bed and watched the scene infront of him quietly. He wondered about three things right now. Why were there four people in his room? Did he forget to lock the door? And most importantly... what would happen next and would he need to call the police?
Although Bai Cheng heard every word of his daughter, he ignored her and turned to Ash. After he greeted the confused boy, Bai Cheng continued seriously " My name is Bai Cheng and the beautiful lady next to me is Bai Juan.You probably know about our daughter Bai Ling."
"Beautiful lady?" Ash asked himself in confusion while looking at thw kid next to the tall man with silvery eyes. " Isn't that Bai Ling's younger sister?" She was sunshine and smiles... Just like a kid.
Oblivious to Ash's thoughts Bai Juan asked full of smiles " So, what do you think of our Ling?"
After a moment of hesitation, Ash responded " She definetly knows how to surprise someone. " too much was happening and he had little to work with, so he just blurted out the first things that were on his mind. These people gave Ash a strange feeling.
"I hope that you like her, because you are going to become our son in law in the future."
Bai Cheng smiled.
"But dad... How can you do this to me? Bai ling retorted angrily. She wasn't happy to know that her father just gave her away like that.
" No buts... I've seen everything and know it's your fault for ending like this. It wouldn't have happened if you weren't interested in that boy anyway." Hiding a little secret of his own, Bai Cheng scolded Ling.
"If you saw what happened, you know that it isn't my fault"
"Learn to shoulder the consequences of your doings." Bai Cheng could fix her mistakes, but life was unforgiving. Fix world wide hunger and a bigger catastrophy would show up at the door.
As he watched the father and daughter pair fight with words, Ash was exasperated at the fact that his opinion didn't even matter to them. Although he found Bai Ling beautiful, being forced into marriage was something uncomfortable for him no matter who it was with.
Seeing his strange look at her husband and daughter, Bai Juan approached Ash. "Now that you are part of the family, why don't you join us for a dinner?"
"Part of the family?... Dinner?" Ash paused for amoment. After a second of thinking he turned to the still arguing father-daughter duo and shouted " Stop it, hold on for a minute... I never agreed to a marriage and neither do I know what's happening... Can someone explain to me this scene?"
Turning in Ash's direction Bai Cheng asked seriously " Don't you like our daughter, Ling?"
Speechless. Ash was totaly speechless. That guy was oblivious to how relationships worked here. Who did he think he was? The overlord of the whole world? Not to mention that Ash barely knew Bai Ling and now he was forced to marry her. What was wrong with these guys?
Seeing his strange face, Bai Cheng suddenly remembered something. He excused himself and explained everything that happened in the past day to Ash in a patient way.
"So basicaly Bai Ling consumed the blood I accidentally spat and the red vortex was due to the so called blood ritual we did without knowing" Ash repeated with unusual calmness to his face. "Then there is the curse of the ritual and due to it we can't have kids with other partners, but we can sence each other even if we are at the both ends of the world." he continued.
"Yes" both parents nodded.
"What's next? You are actualy gods who can fly and lift mountains?" Ash asked, seemingly not trusting them at all.
In the next second he was in the air along with the couple infront of him.
