Several weeks went on and Sheya was already experiencing the highs and lows of pregnancy. Morning sickness, fatigue, moodswings, frequent headaches became normal to her but during the days she was feeling better, she made sure to make surprise visits and inspections to SheyButter Cafe so she would personally see how everyone was doing their jobs as well as getting customer feedbacks by chatting with them.
She installed cameras on all corners of the cafeteria so she could still monitor them when she couldn't be there aside from the frequent phone calls, emails and monthly staff meeting.
So far everything was going according to plan and she could focus on the custom- made orders which were becoming huge itself so she decided to hire another pastry chef who would work at the shop so they could accommodate all the personalized and detailed requests of their customers.
Her business adviser suggested for the SheyButter Cafe to be opened for franchising. There were several applicants at the very first week but Sheya was cautious and would not accept anybody too easily because she wanted to make sure that her brand will always remain outstanding and immaculate as one of the best cafeterias in the city.
She carefully examined and scanned the applicants and only considered those potential franchisees who met her strict standards.
As business was becoming bigger and bigger like her growing belly, she noticed that it is no longer ideal for her to stay in her apartment.
Her place had only one room, a studio type and most of the time, she would bump with Sophie because there were already too much stuffs and her work area at her tiny kitchen looked like a total mess.
She had been renting all her life.. She realized that it's about time she buy a house for herself and her baby so there would be plenty of space for them..
