"My wives had asked me to work on my temper, but…" looking at the flustered Kaia and Kaija with guilt for being late or failing to keep his word. "I'm sure they won't mind me killing you."
As soon as Hittan finished speaking the gravity returned to normal and a pulling motion took over Abbas's body, drawing him towards Hittan's palm! Slamming his neck squarely into Hittan's palm. Squeezing Abbas's neck Hittan had no remorse but he still offered the same advice.
"In your next life choose a better dog to follow."
CRACK!
"You killed him so easily! We heard that he was 350,000 units into tier 2 of the Elemental Rank." Kaia looked at Hittan with a bit of shock while Kaija just stared at the dead Abbas while trying to guess Hittan's true level of power!
*****************************
"Sister! May I come in?"
"What is it, Kaia?"
"I need to talk to you about Hittan!"
"... Come in."
As the doors to the throne room were pushed open Kaija couldn't help but wonder about the recent dreams of her childhood. It seemed somehow that her dreams became akin to memories and she found herself missing that feeling more and more each day. Missing a time of freedom or missing a person, Hittan. But it was a thought she dismissed, as she knew that it was impossible to have these memories so she attributed them to her longing for a life she only tasted with him.
"Kaija, I have been having strange dreams as of late. Dreams about us and Hittan at…"
"At Sky Element Academy."
"You too?! No, it can't be! How are we both having the same kind of dreams about him… does he call you, his… wife, too?"
"... Yes, it seems his goal… was always, us."
"But what about the things we've done to him and hidden from him. If he finds out I tried, no, we tried to kill him, what will he do?" Kaia started to panic at the thought of Hittan hating her.
"I don't know… we can only wait and dream. Hittan you hopeless romantic… protect us well."
******************************
"You came in time." Kaija looked at Hittan with a new sense of security with him merely being there as she softly spoke.
"As it turns out my training was plagued with impatience to return to the both of you. It seems we will be training together in the future or I won't be able to concentrate for long."
"A likely excuse, just say that you want to protect or see us around the clock." Kaia squinted and stared at him from the corner of her eye while commenting.
"Well, that would stop me from worrying."
"What about him?" Kaija pointed towards Malach.
"Oh yes, my newly formed friend. Just a moment girls I need to say a few words before we leave."
Appearing before Malach like a ghost and pulling him out of the ground by the back of his shirt. Hittan noticed a wet mark on the spot no longer occupied by Malach.
"Such confidence to attack me twice and endanger my friends and to go as far as kidnapping my wives. A foolhardy effort that deserves a good end, die."
STOP!!!!!!!!!!!
BANG! Pressure fell from the sky causing the girls to drop to their knees while Hittan simply looked at the quickly approaching Elder. This person also wore a symbol of the Arena on his right shoulder and bore a strong resemblance to Malach.
It was at this time that the rest of team New Hope showed up but were caught up in the overbearing pressure. As such, they were held at bay outside of the arena.
Observing the situation and the condition of his friends, Hittan greeted the Elder, "and who might you be?"
"I am his father, Aapo and I've come to put an end to these…" it was then that he noticed Kaija and Kaia and immediately his memory of who they were flashed into his mind! The future Highlord and Overlord of the Alicorn Empire and an immediate panic set in as he realised that he and his clan could not escape the calamity that would befall them because of his own inactions. The next thing that came to mind was to sacrifice his son but he immediately dismissed that idea. He loved his overindulged son too much to do that.
Seeing the delayed reactions on Aapo's face Hittan understood that he recognised who the girls were.
"So you've come to save your son, the would-be murderer and kidnapper of the Princesses to Alicorn Empire. Or are you here to silence a witness to a crime?"
"Haha, you certainly are a smart one. Release my son and I'll ensure your friends outside keep their lives."
"You promise to kill only me and my wives if I release your son?"
"You are intelligent."
"I see, like father like son. Your family seems to specialise in hostage negotiations. But let me solve that problem for you."
SNAP!
Malach was now dead and slumped over on the floor.
"BOY!!!!!! YOU WILL ALL DIE!!!!!!!"
In his fit of rage, he didn't notice Hittan extending his spirit sense to remove the pressure from Kaia and Kaija.
"Hittan what do we do now!?" Kaia shouted as they both came running towards him.
"We only have one option and that is to fight. If he had said just me for you two to live, I would have responded differently. But anyone that harms you or threatens you both is my mortal enemy."
"But how can we fight him? He's clearly stronger than Abbas by multiple ranks!" Kaia expressed her worry directly while Kaija looked at Hittan and he could see the anxiety and worry on her face.
"Okay, that's enough worrying. Look how strong your husband really is!"
Rising up to meet Aapo in the air Hittan's body started to glow white and his hair started to stand high above his head as the temperature started rising significantly. With glowing Sapphires eyes, Hittan quickly scanned the entire arena and found Aatami. With a flicker of his wrist, a 2-foot long feather blade sliced through the air and two walls to land squarely into Aatami's head.
Thud!
Aatami dropped down dead.
"Now that we've removed any witnesses I'll show you what it means to anger me, boy!" From the moment hittan arrived on the scene his anger had been building and building with no real room to vent it. With his rage passed the boiling point he now eyed Aapo as a good combatant to vent his frustrations on.
"Kaija, did he just call the Elder a boy?"
"It seems that way. We'll have to ensure we work on that poor attitude of his as well as his temper."
"It seems our husband in training has a way to go."
"Yes, it seems so. Haha"
Once Hittan arrived the girls began to feel like everything was back to normal and even with an enemy in front of them a sense of security was already planted within their soul.
"Instructor Hittan, I praise your courage to face me. But no matter what fighting force factor you have, your base strength is just 100,000 units."
"True, your 600,000 units of strength is decent, but I wouldn't consider it strong!"
'He can tell what level of strength I possess at his Diamond rank?' Concern started to grow within Aapo.
Both girls looked at each other after hearing 600,000 units. But maintained their faith in Hittan.
"I'll show you how easy that level of strength can be attained…"
Suddenly the girls' jaws dropped at the sudden change in Hittan's appearance. As a majestic Diamond Dragon antlers grew from his hair which glowed with white flames. At the centre of his head, a line of hair turned into beautiful white feathers that ran down towards his neck in a straight line. The rest of his hair turned into sparkling diamond scales with his Sapphire blue eyes taking the pupils of a dragon. Then suddenly a diamond crown appeared in the centre of his antlers encased in white flames. Awe was automatic and instinctive in all persons present as if a King had appeared.
Looking at Hittan's back the princesses thought his current form was their embodiment of security and protection. Knowing that his current form may affect them negatively he needed to reassure them that it was still him and he was still the same Hittan. But to his surprise, he saw them smiling with blushing cheeks towards him. However, the moment would not stay long as Aapo made his move!
"Too inexperienced, mutt!"
BANG!
