"So, what's the plan?" Xyrin just finished her meal and interrupted his train of thoughts.
"Just that."
"Just that? What do you mean? Did you ask me to come here to simply say that?"
Her irritated looks make him feel better.
No matter how angry and sad she is, she's always beautiful.
He suddenly remembers the night when he made her cry and a pang of guilt dawned upon him again.
"Work as my personal secretary."
Her soft lips formed into a thin line, expressing her annoyance.
"Other than the things that you and I know already, what else should I be informed of?"
"Hmmm…"
"…"
She always knew that he's a man of few words but she's not in the mood to play with his silly guessing and waiting game.
"Do you really have time for all of this? If you have nothing more to say and if you're done annoying me, then, I'll leave now."
"You'll start on Monday and as my secretary, you'll drive for me."
"Hey! I'm supposed to be your personal secretary, not your driver!"
"But I haven't even started annoying you."
"..."
'What's wrong with this man? I really don't get him.' She thought.
"And don't get the wrong idea, I'm not being an abusive employer. It's only normal for a personal secretary to drive." He continued.
"For a normal employer, that's normal. But for a business tycoon like you? It's not." She retorted.
'Besides, are you even normal?' She murmured.
"Am I even normal?" He said mocking and amusingly.
"For starters, you're the only secretary who's too courageous enough to even say those words. Shouldn't it be I who is asking, are you even normal?"
Her face turned red. She has forgotten that he has very keen ears. And a very sharp tongue to add with that.
"I didn't even ask to become your secretary." She said pouting.
"You can fire me now if you want. For all I care." She said, still somewhat embarrassed. She knew that she agreed on his demands and she has no right to complain.
A sudden smile appeared on his handsome face.
She was too stunned that she has completely forgotten everything else.
'Did he really smile?' She asked herself.
But decided that she must be mistaken.
"Let's go, I'll drive you home. And I'll see you on Monday."
