Close to a bush, two single horned dears were resting after having their fill but not far away from them was dele accompanied by typhany. Since winter was very close they had to hunt as much as possible especially that winter was very dangerous in the forest since the beasts in it become way more active so food had to be stored and to be proficient the tribe chief, Mauricio, had seperated them into several groups.there were 14 groups in total,and dele was assigned to the sixth in wich he had tephany and lisa as partners and sometimes harry gve a hand since his tribe didn't stick around in the forest after winterrfell.
far into the distance dele stared at the sleeping dears as he saw a box over them:

well, killing the dears will be no problem at all for dele but catching them was the real hard deal. he hardly could outpace them but with their ability dash wich increased their speed by half he couldn't even dream of catching them,so he concluded that kiling them would need an ambush where they are driven his way so he can land an instant killing blow.
this was their plan he and typhany were merely waiting for lisa's and harry's signal to really themselfs and here it was a light deflected off a mirror shone in their eyes. the hunt has begun lisa and harry jumped off a bush and ran directly to the dears who in their panic were seperated.
'damn why didn't i anticipate this' thought felix to himself. he quickly said to lisa:' take care of the one coming our way' before he jumped and ran after the one who escaped they weren't that far away from each other merely seperated by a distance of 30 meters and since the dear was full he was slower than usual so the distance between hem dwindled 30,25,20,10 as the dear felt he would be catched by the predator behindd it it activated dash it's speed soaring.
when he saw this dele was dissapointed as he thought he could kill it before it would get faster.
should i give up the chase or continue he asked himself he knew it would be pointless to continue to but soldiered on anyways,he knew that with no pain there was no gain.
as their chase contined dele began feeling dizzy from all the running it seemed as if his body will soon shut down his muscles becoming sore ,his ability to dodge trees became smaller as he brushed by trees more often however his scales kept him protected.and after 10 minutes of runing the distance between him and his prey became a stagering 400 meters but suddently he began accelerating and in a 2 minutes he caught up with his prey and darted on it and instantly bit it's neck as his prey breathed it's lastest breaths he heard a sobing voice in his mind:
"please no,i don't wanna' die!!" it was the dear's he gave a melancolic sight this happened every time he forgot to disactivate mind reading before hunting.
after he made sure it ws dead he sat panting and check his status window to understand what happened just earlier:

«dash»: thanks to pushing yourself to the limit for an extended period of time you have gained the ability to accelerate your speed by 100% for 5 minutes.reading this dele and discovering the new ability he was estatic because with this ability he will be able to hunt down those dears pretty easily
after resting for a while he carried the corpse still spiling blood and returned to were the hunt started,upon his arrival he was welcomed by the harry was laying on the lawn besides him wa the other deer's corpse , and when harry noticided him he was suprised due to the fact that he was able to catch the deer
"it seems you're not as incompetent as you look,christian." harry teased him like he ofen did
"wow. the guy who only serves as a divertion is talking." replied dele after some silence before realizing harry was adressing him because no matter what he tried he couldn't get used to his new name wich he thought was lame.
"how did you did you do it" asked harry with a tone filled with curiosity
"maximum effort and some luck" said dele before picking a tree to sit under wich was fellowed by them continuing their chat.
after what felt like a quarter of an hour lisa appeared before them to inform them of the presence of a wolf pack nearby and led the way. after walking for some time they arrived the Forrest's outskirts wich had few to no trees in front of them was a wolf pack

there were nearly 15 wolfs in this group so it was clear it was only a part because demonic wolfs were similar to earth's so they lived in packs made of hundreds of wolfs,dele kept looking at the pack and questioned his group's ability to contend with them. it was very clear tha after they choose to confront them they won't be able to escape because the wolfs will outpace them but if they succeed in killing them it will be a great help to the village.
in the end it was his decision he was the group's leader.so he finally decided that if he was going to face the wolf pack he'll need to shave off their numerical advantage,so he ordered typhany to go scout the nearby area afterwich she returned reporting that there was a ridge nearby to wich he rejoiced then held a team meeting.
"ok guys if we are going to hunt these wolf it'll be better to lure them to the ridge so we can fight them two at a time so lisa your part will be to lure the wolfs using the newly hunted dear and make sure all of them enter the ridge afterwich you'll fight them with typhany meanwhile me and harry will carry out a pincer attack understood?"
it was a pretty simple plan but efficient nontheless so everybody took their position and lisa went to lure the wolfs after a while he caught a glimpse of her running towards the ridge and after a few seconds she was followed by their supposed preys and as the plan said hey began their encirclement
as dele who had a weird feeling as if his instincts told him to abort the mission and harry jumped out of the bush and entered the ride themselves it was extremely narrow barely fitting 2 wolfs together but it was long estemately 250 meters long.
and the fight began but before the dele could begin he heard a howl from behind him followed by another group consisting of 30 wolfs entering the rift, now they were encircled
"listen harry I'll have your back kill those 15 as soon as possible «said dele, the fox found no solution but to nod in reply.it was after all the best course of action
the fight was very long and dele had the worst of it before they could even clear the first 15 his back as full of wound and cuts due to harry not doing that great of a job covering him and by the time they killed he group almost all the scales on his back were torn apart leaving him in great pain and anguish. But after that it was fairly easy to fight and the hunt was finally finished. the result was impressive they hunted 42 wolfs and 2 dears.
dele felt extreme pride as he saw his spoils of war, how proud will his mother be because of these feelings he felt great satisfaction well, until he painstakingly regrew his scales on a sleepless night spent in cursing at harry's entire family and lineage.
the next few days were also spent hunting multiple beasts like: earth monkeys,salamandars,fish,and most importantly dears.
also dele gained a 3 new skills «iron scales» : due to undergoing a lot of pressure and injuries your skin has undergone a qualiatif change making it more resilient and thought to pierce throught and it's equivalent for claws and fangs
on the morning of the sixth day marking their departure the sky was silvery white resembling that of dele's skin at first they thought the clouds will disperse but they were wrong because it started snowing that evening it signified only one thing winter was coming!
