Bing Shi had to inherit her family's company and couldn't chase her dreams blindly. She still didn't give up on assembling a team of people, who would build a skyscraper with her. Therefore, she decided to take a more practical approach and founded the A.I.M group, a small architecture and engineering consulting firm, which collaborated mainly with Wu's property group.
A.I.M's first project was a family investment. She was going to inherit her parent's company, so why not combine it, and create a self-advertisement for A.I.M?
Instead of working as a structural engineer, she took over management and marketing roles. Her idea was to create a more modern and appealing space that would increase the traffic and sales in the Wu property's malls.
A.I.M would be able to use this success to secure deals for future projects.
