"Stop crying... You don't deserve him. He's an asshole for leaving you without even saying goodbye and giving you closure."
Rin Chan was awaken by those words followed by the sound of a girl sobbing.
"He's my first love. I don't know if I will ever love again. It hurts so much. I don't know what to do..."
The girl weepingly replied. The other girl console her friend.
Rin Chan thought that she was just dreaming, it took her a few seconds to finally realize that she's already awake when she felt her neck aching due to her awkward sleeping position.
"Hey, what's going on?"
She asked as she yawn and stretch her body out. The girls look at her, it was then that she found out that the crying girl was none other than Emi.
"Miss Jade, did we woke you up? I'm sorry."
Emi politely said as she wipe her tears off of her face.
"No, why are you crying? Did madam Pearl scolded you?"
Rin Chan worriedly asked after she remembered what madam Pearl had said earlier.
"Aiya, miss Jade it's like this. Emi's boyfriend ghosted her and left her for another girl. Turns out she's only his rebound."
The other girl explained. Rin Chan had a confused look on her face after she heard what happened.
"Ghosted? rebound? What do you mean?"
She innocently asked. The girl dubiously looked at her then elaborated for her.
"Aiya Miss Jade you should watch more dramas so you'll know...
Ghosted means he abandoned her without even officially breaking up with her. He just suddenly stop communicating with her. Not answering her calls, messages and even blocking her at facelook...
If Emi didn't find out through their common friends that he was already back with her former girlfriend she wouldn't even know that they are already over...
Rebound means he just used poor Emi to keep him occupied as he wait for his ex lover to come back from studying overseas. That jerk, I swear I'll cut his balls off when I bump into him."
The girl angrily said as she wring her handkerchief as if she's strangling someone to death.
Rin Chan's heart sank when she heard what the girl said. She was reminded of her dilemma.
'what if he ghosted me? What if I'm just a rebound since Mei Chen was already taken and he's lying to me about his feelings for me..'
