Don't worry, you can just call me "Daven"
Here's the thing, while I was walking at night in a dark alley that I'm used to walk evertime, it never occured to me that i would see a "Brighter" again. This time i was confuse and afraid because I know that Brighters Only appear whenever something Good Or Bad will happen to me.
You probably won't believe me but to explain more about what I'm talking about, well, uhmm, here goes:
I was about 5yrs old when i got into an accident. It was a typical lunch in the dinning room when my sister was fooling around at me for some reason, I was sitting near my sister and while we were eating she was teasing me.
She was pushing my seat and was really annoying me at that time, Behind me was an old Mirror, the kind of mirror that was very old and was hangging on two wooden post, it was so tall that you can see you're full body in it, then it happened....
My Sister accidentally push me and a fell backwards smashing the mirror behind me, The last thing I remembered was that ny face was filled with blood and i had a Crowned of shards of mirror in my forehead. My Sister was screaming because of fear.
After that, i was sent to the hospital, and then I woke up and saw this big patch in my head, as I was scratching my wound patch since it was very itchy, I didn't notice that i was all alone in the room, Then I walked around the hospital and saw nobody, at first i was scared but then as I was about to cry, I saw this Bright light.
I got up and walked towards the light, it was very warm and sweet, the light was glowing a bright Teal color, then as i walk closer i saw a figure in the light, it was of human form and it guided me back to my room.
while walking back to my room, I saw other Lights and colors, I remember calling them "Brighters". It was the first time i saw that many colorful lights.
I went to my bed and then i felt very sleepy, eventually i did, and when i woke up i saw my dad and my aunt.
We went back home and i felt something different in me, i felt like something was oddly changed in me.
2yrs later, as I was arriving home from school, it was a very rainy afternoon. I saw another Brighter, this time it was aqua Green, I felt odd because i had a feeling something bad was going to happen. It did and it was 2004, Nov. 29 when my town was cornered with a tsunami, a flood, and the two bridges that connects our town from other towns was destroyed.
I survived for some reasons even other kids were freaked out because i had no bruises, wounds, nor was i wet. It was very weird considering it was a very rainy and the tragedy was horrible.
The grownups at that time, called me blessed, but the kids we're afraid and some was calling me names, some even teases me that I'm the reason of it all..
As I grew and went to Highschool, people seemed to forget about me. I then became the Emo kid at the room, I was very skinny, long hair, and really didn't talk much.
Then it was my third time seeing a brighter, but this time it was purple and was following 3 of my classmates. The last thing I know that day was i felt really sick, also i stated a very bitter and salty taste in my tounge, I was sent home for vomiting lots of salty water.
The next day I went back to school, one of my classmates suddenly spoke to me and ask me if i known about the news, Three of my classmates were dead, two drowned by the sea and one commited suicide by drinking poison.
Then it sinked in, I now know that I could have done something, i felt guilty and responsible for not doing a thing. I had to do something right, so i did....
The next time i saw a brighter, i will do everything to know more about it.
Fast forward back to this moment i was walking in an alley, i saw a brighter, it was glowing blue, I followed it then saw that it was following a guy, a teenager with very white skin, he was lost and confuse as to what i can see, then suddenly an old man appeared out of the dark and before i knew it, the old man was pointing a knife in that guy, he was being robbed.
I felt the urge to help but in my mind i was really nervous, What thr heck am I doing? I ask myself...
I ran towards them, shouting, Screaming and making a scene, the robber was caught on guard and was freaked out and ran away...
The guy was thankfully okay, and i ask him if he was fine, He said he wad but as I saw his arm was bleeding, I helped him and brought him to the nearest hospital.
As we we're in the hospital, i can still see his Brighter following him but this time I saw it change color, It was now Pink, then the guy i saved talked to me and gave me his name, He was named Bright.
I went my way back home and left him since his mom was already there for him..It felt great that i was able to save someone but i knew if i had to make this work, I had to be prepared.
I am Daven and I can see Brighters, I thought it was the beginning of something great but i had no idea what is going to happen next...
