"Alright you know what to do, let's get a move on!". I pretended to still be passed out as his goons took the cage and carried it to the back entrance of the building. I heard the doors swing open and they covered my cage with a huge thin blanket.
All cages were lifted on a hook being pulled on a pulley in the Dome above everyone. I could still see them, my senses were no match for the stupidity of a blanket. Neither was all of my comrades. Our cages were aligned from two on the left side and two on the right where we can be viewed above all the members. I saw Grith readying himself putting on his top hat and walking all dandy with his cane following his every step.
"Finally we have them, finally they are here!" Grith looks at the crowd roaring in applause from his words as he smiles crookedly. He bows slightly as his men pull down the sheets.
"You see, no more hunting and searching now that we have them in our grasp we can finish what we started".
I had my head low watching everyone trying to see an opportunity to escape, but there wasn't any. I did suspect the man and woman together leaning on the railing that was above the stage. They were observing everything like I was.
"Let's sacrifice them! And take what belongs to us," he continues
"scare away the humans from their existence by killing their last hope!".
I felt something come over me as soon as he finished. I was boiling my body up rose.
"No!".
Everyone turns their head as they frowning in disgust
"Who are you to speak in chains!" says one of the men from the crowd. I lifted my head higher as my arms stretched.
"I am more than what you think of me I assure you, I will rein against you and allow you to fall!"
I felt my eyes burning through me like an eternal fire ready to burst. The pain in my arms became numb as I bust through. I jump from within the cage and the bottom half crashes open. Hitting the floor the ground shook causing the whole place to tremble, cracking from the walls and celling. I ran out with Eric as Teresa and Odin followed behind. I thought to myself although I was able to break us out and cause destruction doesn't mean they were all killed. Vampires have a tendency to stay alive because they're so damn nimble. I could have done minor damage to them since Grith leads them to an advantage.
We are all standing next to each other watching the building completely collapse. Then silence overcame us...
