Chapter 14 - Ch.13: Last Class for Today

After the lunch incident, both Jason and Skye were dazed in mathematics. The teacher ended up throwing chalk at Jason so he could pay attention to him a couple of times. After the bell rung, they headed out to the training field where bunch of dragons were flying a bout. The Dragonight class got change in their riding clothes included Skye. As soon as both the girls and guys walk out onto the field, Skye immediately roundhouse kick Jason.

"You dimwit!" Skye landed her kick, sending Jason flying. Everyone just look at each other like what just happen?

"Uhhhh Miss Skye, you know I have to mark you off for assaulting another student regardless if he is your rider or not...." the teacher putting a tally beside her name on her clipboard.

"Skye really?!" Jason replied from across the field.

"Agni Singula Talla Ma." Skye chanted a seal then slung a fire shot that missed Jason.

".....Skye, private would you!" Jason snapped, not wanting another Agni Flame Shot being fired at him. Well Skye went over to Jason and got popped by him, the teacher continued the class. For their lesson today, it be Controlled Aerial Combat where both the dragonights and their par must have their mind sync to one another. The rider going to cliff jump onto their dragons, circle upwards then dive bomb a target on the ground. The riders delivering the shot as their dragons be supporting them via magic, avoiding others from taking them down. Meanwhile, Jason was pacing back and forth, another classmate in waiting to give Jason a spare dragon since Skye cannot transform.

"Skye just cool down. I am sorry for what happen in math..." Jason said to a head drawn Skye.

"You suppose to be my knight and knights do not feel down bout nothing. When you down, your par, me, will also feel down kay?" Skye gripping Jason's shirt.

"Then milady, wanna cheer me on then as I show these commoners how I ride then?" Jason replied with a cheeky grin.

"Kay whatever, smh!" Skye brush Jason off. She then whispered something to the dragon that Jason was bout to ride.

After three other dragonights execute the cliff jump, it was Jason's turn. The teacher nodded and Jason made a run for it. With a wicked grin, he leap off the three story markshift cliff. He then went wide eye as he did not see the dragon nowhere as he begin to fall. Out of nowhere he was grab by the helm by a Earth Class Cliffhanger dragon. The same one that he was assigned to as the dragon took flight from hanging onto the side of the cliff.

"Let me get down from here and Imma get you Sky-lar!" Jason flinging around in the dragon's mouth. Skye turned around and started whispering to the dragons around her. The dragon soon flung Jason over and into the saddle. Jason quickly grab the reigns for control. The teacher face palmed.

"Happy to join us in the air dragonless rider." one of the fellow classmates smirk.

"Bite me." Jason replied as the teacher came up to the airborne class.

"Since everyone now up in the sky, everyone except Jason should be able to sync with their dragons and do as John follows. If he could be the first to do the dive bombing that is and not belittle the one without a dragon." the dragonight teacher eyeing the boy on an Aerial class Migunic dragon.

"With pleasure sensei. Ryner ni lesta n ash si Migunic(Ryner, heed thy calling of Lightning and Ash and soar like the Migunic dragon that you are!)!" the boy soon chant as his arm dragonmark glowed along with his dragon's own dragonmarks. With a dragon seal on top of his dominant hand, the pair then soar upward then flew in for the kill. "Aerial Omega Dulla Cherry Shot!" John commanded as two beads of compress air were shot to the target. Two freshmen applause as John rejoined the group.

"Cherry Shots, not bad John. Along with other types of compressed energy shots be key in aerial combat. Next!" the teacher commended John.

"If we talking bout doing Cherry Shots, may I be next sensei?" Jason said, irises slanted with a grin. *a stable dragon can handle a contracted knight right?* Jason thoughtspeak to the dragon that he's mounted up on.

*even with a royal contractee, do not press your luck kid. overload me and we both fall* the dragon look back at Jason.

"Do not be crying to me if you get hurt. I hold no responsibility." the dragonight teacher replied.

*do not worry I will try not to* Jason worn his usual wicked grin as both him and the dragon marked up.

"Then let this lightning dance between heaven and earth commence." Jason stood up in the saddle only to crouch down, hand on the saddle edge. It was when he let go of the reigns that the dragon soar upwards. The dragon crying on the inside as his rider is nuts emitting a lightning element onto an earth dragon.
