Yuki with the two guards
"Hey!! I'm asking you where do you think you going?"
Yuki needs to think of something if he did not want to get caught.
"Help!! two of the guards just fell on the ground while screaming in pain"
"what where!?"
"inside you need to hurry!"
the two guards run inside to check what happen, and after running for a few minutes they finally find the two guards laying on the ground the guards check one of the guards who's laying on the ground.
"hey!! are you ok"
the guard mumbles something he can't speak well because of the pain in his stomach.
"what?"
"I said the children are escaping!!"
"WHAT!!"
the guard look at they're back to check to the boy who told them the situation, but the boy already has gone

The children who escape from the mine to the forest are running for an hour and decided they should rest for while because Rose notices the tired face of the children.
"Ok everyone we should rest here for a bit"
After Rose said that everyone immediately sits down and catches they're breath Rose lay Shiro to the ground to also rest, their progress is slow because Layon and the younger children who's physically weak is having a hard time catching up not just that Rose also carrying Shiro all of them don't have a cover for they're feet so some children feet are bleeding because of running.
While resting one of the children approaches Layon.
"hi I saw what you did earlier in the mine even though you scared you still hit that guard that's really impressive"
"Oh, no that's just because I want to protect Rose"
"haha don't be shy your still impressive, by the way, my name is Lake"
"I'm Layon"
Layon and Lake shake hand with a smile, Layon is happy because he made a new friend.
after a few minutes, Rose carries Shiro and tell to the children.
"everyone we should get going was still not safe here"
everyone stand up Lake take Shiro to the hand of Rose.
"Let me carry her, guy should do the heavy lifting haha"
"Ok thank you"
and without wasting time they all start running again.

Yuki running in the forest at a slow pace because of the injury on his head he feels a bit dizzy while running.
'This is bad I need to hurry or else they gonna caught me'
he continues running even though his condition is not good, because he cannot afford to get caught he promised those two that he's gonna meet them again, and also the thought of leaving his sister alone in this cruel world make Yuki stronger.
'i can't leave my sister or make my sister cry I'm her only family'
after a few minutes of walking he starts to feel weak and little by little, the slow pace becomes slower and his body fell on the ground and his eyes starting to get heavy and then finally he succumbs to the darkness.

The furious boss yelling at the guards who let the children escape.
"USELESS, EVERYONE OF YOU IS F*CKING USELESS!!!!"
"sorry, bo...."
Before the guard can give their reply the boss cut them by shouting louder.
"WHY ARE YOU ALL STILL HERE FIND THE CHILDREN, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING BACK WITHOUT THEM!!!!!"
the guards immediately run towards the forest to find the missing children, and the thought of the punishment awaits them if they didn't bring back the children give them the motivation to search like a mad man.

The children who are running for hours finally get out of the forest, some children celebrate.
"Yes!!!"
"Yahoo!!"
But Rose stop them
"don't celebrate yet we're still not safe, until we get to the town we're still in danger"
the children stop they're celebrating and agree with Rose, and decided to continue to their escape.
"Let's get going"
while running Layon stop because he smells something sweet Rose notices it and asks the children to stop, Rose asks Layon.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Ahh, no"
"then why did you stop?"
"I smell something sweet"
Rose starts to sniff to confirm if there's a really sweet smell, and the children copy what Rose is doing and one by one say.
"I don't smell anything"
"me too"
"me three"
then Lake suggest that
"maybe your just hungry?"
the children agree to what Lake said and Layon seems to agree to the idea too, but Rose didn't.
"We should check it, Layon lead us where you smell the sweet thing"
"Are you sure?"
"yes we need food to regain our energy so we need to check it out"
Layon follow the sweet smell, while the children follow Layon, after a few minutes of walking they see a huge tree with a lot of fruit
the children didn't even notice that the smile is showing at they're facing, because of the sight they're seeing right now.
"Wow!!"
"Fruits!!"
"It's so many!!"
Rose, Lake, and the children immediately phrase Layon
"Good job Layon!!"
"Thank you, Brother!!"
"I know you had it in you, you are really impressive! haha"
Layon faces turn red and a smile while hiding his face, and then Rose tells the kids to eat as much fruit as they can, so Lake lays Shiro near the huge tree to gather fruit.
after filling their stomach with fruit the children seem very tired and sleepy and the sun is about to set, so Rose decided to stay here to sleep.
"everyone we should stay here to sleep"
the children celebrate.
"Yey we can finally rest and sleep"
Layon talk to Rose about the situation
"can we really sleep here with this cold and the dark is scary what if some monster appears?
"We don't have a choice it's safer to rest here than wander in the dark"
Lake overheard their conversation and suggest.
"I can make a fire we just need a lot of flammable materials so the fire can last long"
Rose and Layon get shocked
"Really!?"
"Yes"
Rose tells the children that they need to collect the flammable materials, that Lake said he needs to start a fire before it gets dark.
"Ok everyone comeback here before it gets dark"
"Ok!!!"
while the children are gathering the materials Shiro finally wakes up and Rose who's at Shiro's side sees her.
"Uhm, where am I?"
"Shiro you finally awake, are you ok?"
"Huh, who are you? where's my brother?
Rose stop for a sec before answering Shiro.
"I'm Rose, your brother and I are friends, and he just doing something important but we can meet with him later"
"really you are a friend of my brother?"
"Yes"
"thank you for being a friend of my brother please take care of him"
Rose is shocked. After all, she thought that she's going to cry because she didn't see her brother, but instead, she thanks Rose for being her brother's friend.
"ahh yes, of course, I will, you should eat here some fruit"
"Thank you!"
after a while, the materials needed to start a fire are complete the only need is to light it up, so lake starts to light up the fire with all the children watching to watch how Lake does it.
Lake starts to focus and stretch his arm to the flammable materials then the fire suddenly appears in his hand and Lake shoots the flammable materials, the children become amazed not just the children Rose and Layon too they don't know what reaction to make to what just happen.
"Wow!!"
"How did you do it?"
"you know how to use magic?
"Haha yeah but I can only do it once a day because I don't have enough mana"
"Mana?"
"I don't really know about it my father teach it to me when he's still alive, but I don't really get it either I just feel it"
Rose, Layon, and the children stop asking questions when they hear Lake's father's death because they don't want to Lake remember something sad like that.
it becomes dark and the children gather near the fire for them to get warm, Rose is the first in charge of looking out, after a few hours Layon wake up and tell Rose to sleep and let him be the lookout, Rose smile at him and agree she immediately fell asleep because of the long day they have.
