'So I'm meant to eat the fruit right? They did put it in front of me but could this secretly be apart of a plot to kill me??
But the fruit just look so good. I'm overthinking right, I shouldn't waste their goodwill hahaha. Surely, its fine to take a bite out of some of the fruit.. ' The enticing smell of the fruit made Colette drool unconsciously, cutting off her train of thought.
When she noticed this she hurriedly wiped the drool with her forearm, slightly embarrassed, before remembering that there was no one there to judge her. Brushing it off as if it never happened in the first place
'Ahem, I suppose it won't kill me to eat some, right?' She thought as her eyes sparkled with excitement.
Picking up one of the papayas and taking a bite out of it.
'Oh my god, it's so sweet! Ahh I think I'm in heaven right now, there are a few different other fruits here, they should be just as sweet.'
As she didn't have any knives or sharp tools to take the skin off she just continued to bite straight into the fruit. As Colette thought, the other fruits tasted like someone had sprinkled sugar on it or it was dipped in honey!
As Colette continued to indulge herself with the abundant amounts of fruit, a small unsteady figure could be seen wobbling towards her, arms full of more fruit!
'So...so cute! But... more fruit... I don't think I can finish the amount that's already here...'
Soon Bobo had arrived in front of her and carefully placed the fruit that was in his small arms into a small "mountain" next to the larger fruit mountain. He then stood next to the "mountain" which was hardly one but rather a small pile, looking over at the mountain Bobo looked visibly defeated by the small amount of fruit that he had gathered in comparison.
'Aw Bobo don't look sad... my heart is going to break' at the sight of the defeated Bobo Colette internally sobbed for him.
Meanwhile, Bobo seemed to have bounced back from this minor setback, timidly picked up a mango from his pile and offered it to Colette.
'Aww my heart!! I think I'll die from his cuteness! He's going to give a heart attack at this rate.' She accepted the mango from his outstretched arm.
Without breaking eye contact with Bobo who was staring intently back at her, she took a large bite from the mango, it was bursting with flavour! It was sweet with a hint of sour just enough to keep the mango from being overly sweet, not to mention how juicy the mango was!!
'I should've known Bobo would always treat me best! Despite barely knowing me in this life.' she thought happily as she began to consume the fruit from Bobo's pile.
Although calling it a pile would be still be overdoing it... the supposed "arm full of... fruit" were actually only two mangoes and a banana... Bobo just tried so hard to bring her the fruit.
After finishing what Bobo had brought her Colette was already quite full because she had also eaten a few fruits from what the other chimps had offered her. At loss from what she would do with the left over fruit she stared at the left over fruits dumbfounded.
'There is no way I can possibly finish all of this, are they trying to kill me via overeating or by giving me diabetes???'
Luckily, Bobo her little hero saved the day by dragging her away when he saw that she had finished his pile of fruit. His adorably heroic action of dragging her away by the hand caused her heart to flutter and once again suffer a heart attack, for the third time that day. It also gave her a bit of back pain...
This was because Bobo was only about 1m tall causing the 165cm Colette to crouch down to properly hold his hand.
'Ahh the things I do for adorable beings. *sigh* Speaking of which how come the ground seems closer than before?? Weird.' Colette thought however quickly brushing it aside as she observed where Bobo was taking her.
It seemed that he had brought her out of the chimps area and into a more green and lush area, Colette didn't notice it before but Bobo was rushing somewhere, to show her something??
He abruptly stopped, almost causing Colette to trip over him. The area surrounding them was silent however, it was not the calming and peaceful type of silence it was more of an eerie one.
Bobo carefully listened to the surroundings though covered in silence, he was looking for something. Some sort of sign...*screech* There it was! the slight noise that Bobo was looking for, he immediately darted towards that direction without even waiting for Colette to follow along.
His small body swiftly climbed the tree and agilely swung from one branch to the next.
'What could be wrong??'
