Naturally, Kyle didn't follow Zero back to the Palace. He had to stay in a quaint little hotel in town. When he reached his room, he immediately took out his phone to call his wife.
"Hello, my love," came her sweet voice over the line, "Everything okay?"
"Naturally," Kyle answered as he started to undress, "It's Zero after all."
She laughed, "I'm surprised. I thought you'd be bragging about your skills."
Kyle smirked, "It's not bragging if it's the truth."
Sayuri didn't answer to that, knowing how shameless her husband could be at times. Problem was, he was right, too.
"When will you be back?" she asked instead.
Kyle sighed, and placed the phone on hands-free as he took off his shirt, "I'm not sure. We've just started on Phase I, and that seemed to go smoothly. Latifah's plans, however, threw a wrench into some of Zero's initial plans."
"Oh? In what way?" Sayuri asked curiously.
