After dinner that night, Kai began telling Lianne about whatever girl he remembered from his past, starting with the girl that he had met that afternoon.
"To be frank, it took me a bit of time to remember her," Kai mused as they sat on the sofa, with Lianne in his arms. Lianne held his hand, looking at the perfect fingers that lay on his perfect legs, and hummed her reply.
He had spent the better part of the evening and dinnertime to try and recall his neighbours and classmates. Anyone that he may have had contact with but most of the time, he came up blank.
"If you're going to count all my classmates and people I met during club time," Kai went on, "They're all just a blur."
Lianne sighed and patted the back of his hand, "Well, I guess the most efficient way is simply to tell me about them once they pop out or something."
