That night, while they were getting ready for bed, Lianne told Kai, "An incident happened today."
"Oh?" Kai said inquisitively, as he put on his Bermuda shorts that were mid length on his thigh.
"Hmm," Lianne hummed, brushing her hair, "Some conman bumped into me when I was leaving to see Kyle. It was quite obvious he was there to pick me up."
"Oh?" Kai continued, this time, his 'oh' was more of the 'do tell'.
Lianne put down her hairbrush and turned to face her husband, seeing he was standing there at the closet, looking at her intensely.
Lianne blinked for a while, a bit distracted by the vision of her husband's long legs being showcased so well as he stood there. She gulped and licked her lips, then cleared her throat.
"I suspect it's your grandmother again," Lianne said as she got up, forcing her eyes away from the man who obviously knew the impact he was having on her by just standing there.
