Reimonna kept quiet, letting Lianne continue.
"Kyle is like a father to me, while Zero is like a brother," Lianne explained, "I owe a lot to Kyle because not only did he give my father a job here, he also paid for my heart operation."
Lianne wanted to give the background as to why she is close to both Kyle and Zero so that Reimonna would not doubt her. Being as pure as Reimonna, she would be able to understand Lianne's position better than anyone (other than Kai, of course).
Reimonna's naivety and purity could be used for the better good here. On the one hand, it made her easy to be manipulated but on the other hand, she would treat you honestly.
This was why Kai kept her well protected and away from scheming people. The main reason why he hid their marriage from her as she would most likely spill the beans to anyone she trusted.
Which was basically anyone who was nice to her.
