The shadow guards just stood to one side, silently observing Lianne who seemed deep in thought. She was facing the street but one could see from the blankness in her eyes that she was not seeing anything.
They were told about this, but this was the first time they were witnessing it.
As Aspergers is a form of autism, the reaction can differ depending on where they are on the spectrum. Some Aspergers would have a meltdown in such situations, like a 'typical' autistic person (To the ill-informed, it would look like a tantrum).
Some Aspergers would simply curl up and retreat into themselves, cutting themselves out from the world and the things that were too 'noisy'.
Fortunately, Lianne did not suffer from being overwhelmed by the sounds and images around her. She would simply get extremely uncomfortable and if one didn't know any better, one would simply think she was being anti-social.
