In order to reach the penthouse floor, the keycard needed to be used on the elevator to unlock it. Looking at the panel under the elevator buttons, Kai placed the keycard there and pressed the required floor.
The top four floors of the hotel were reserved for its VVIP customers. Those who were regular customers (but not necessarily frequent customers) who wanted privacy and exclusivity.
The lower two floors were the VIP rooms and it was limited in number. It had its own exclusive staff who would be at the person's beck-and-call 24/7 and the kitchen was open 24/7 as well.
The penthouse, obviously, was the highest grade.
There were only two, and the lift would open directly onto the penthouse itself. Thus, the top two floors were the penthouse suite.
The one Lianne had texted him was at the highest floor.
Kai pursed his lips.
