Lianne giggled and Kai looked aggrieved as he stared at her adorable face, "You're that amused at the fact that your husband is constantly being targeted to be eaten up?!"
"It's normally the woman that is a victim of such things," Lianne replied with a pout, "So I don't know if it's a compliment that you are the 'woman' in this case."
Kai stood up, his hand on the waistband of his pajama bottom, and said, "I can surely show you how I am NOT the 'woman' in this relationship."
Lianne rolled her eyes and said, "Oh please, you and I know very well that it's not the physical attributes or features that determine the gender of a person."
Kai smiled, sitting down, as he thought of that fateful day when he met Kyle the first time. He had always been in conflict about his own gender identity. He looked like a girl and was often mistaken as one.
