Kai wheeled Scarlett through the crowd and instead of heading out, was heading to the elevator.
"Kai? Where are you going?" Scarlett asked, turning to face him.
He looked at her innocently, "The clinic, of course."
A slight trace of panic flitted across her face but it quickly resumed to her normal expression. Leaning forward, Scarlett said, "There's no need, Kai. Just soak it in warm water and salt, and it'll be fine."
Kai didn't even look down at her as he seemed to be focused on the elevator buttons, looking up as he gauged where it was. As such, he didn't have to look at what he knew must be a 'sultry' or 'enticing' pose. Perhaps even 'accidentally' seeing some plumpness peeking through.
Kai snorted to himself but kept an innocent facial expression. As if he didn't know what she was trying to do and that he truly was just concerned for her.
"Better be safe than sorry," he said and smiled when the doors opened as the elevator arrived.
