Lianne looked at herself in the mirror, while Hannah was grinning gleefully behind her.
Lianne hardly wore any make-up so this was a first for her to see herself so made-up. She took after her mother a lot in this aspect, for she found having to put on foundation, powder, blend here-and-there, pluck eyebrows, darken them, mascara and God-knows-what-else was SUCH a hassle.
Luckily, she had good skin and she did take care of her skin by wearing lotion and sunblock, but that was the extent of her routine.
The light pink shade of lipstick that had some gloss over it fit her lips perfectly, as well as the light blush on her cheeks. Despite her protest, Hannah also did some eyeliner and even though it looked okay, Lianne was never going to use it again.
Like, why?
Why would anyone have the patience to carefully, and meticulously, make that fine line right at your eyelid? Yes, it looked okay but for the effort that was placed into it?
