So, you remember the girl two chapters back ...the one who made AS sir uncomfortable...??..Yea...her name was ...Riya..
It was an usual day on the doubt counter . children chattering and all the teachers busy in teaching the students . I came a bit late that day , so didn't get a place to sit anywhere . I went to apoorv sir and gave him my book in which I wrote all my doubts . He asked me to wait outside the hall for 15 minutes, as there was no space inside , so I took my bag and went outside ...where I saw riya . She was sitting on the corner of the staircase...sobbing quietly . I wasn't able to hold myself back, so I went to her and called her...
~"Umm Riya..?..are you okay ?"
She quickly wiped her tears and started running away...I tried to stop her but she went inside the counter and ...I lost her in the crowd. I tried searching everywhere but...she just disappeared . Apoorv sir noticed me roaming around the counter with a confused face, so he asked one of the kids around him to call me .
~"I thought I asked you to wait outside..??."
I looked down and apologied . I was about to leave , as he stopped me again.
~"Are you okay ?..you look a bit...weird...everything okay..??"
I looked around the counter one last time trying to find riya...but...no use . So I shook my head and took my leave .
After the doubt counter closed , I was going back home , when , I saw riya standing in the
corner of the road near a huge tree....she was standing behind it...and trying to peak from there...looking at something...somewhere...I tried tracking her eyes to see what she is hiding from , when I noticed 2 guys on their bikes ...standing around 50 meters far...standing in the middle of the road , blocking it by their bikes . I went to riya and tapped her back to get her attention. She turned around and as soon as she saw me...she started crying . I hugged her and tried to comfort her. After a while when she stopped crying , I tried to ask her about what's happening...
~"Riya , what happened ? why are you hiding here behind this tree. ?? is everything okay..?!"
Her eyes were still looking around here and there as if looking out for any danger . I held her by her shoulders and shook her a bit...to get her attention . After taking some deep breaths , she finally started speaking....
~"A week ago...those two guys over there , saw me in a stationary store near my house . I felt they were a bit weird so I quickly turned around to leave the shop...but they started following me....I quickly ran back to my house ...I felt it was a good idea...but...now I feel...it wasn't...they know where I live , where my school is...and literally every place I go to....they keep following me...and if by any chance they find me alone...they ....start harassing me....i tried asking few of my friends to accompany me...but...they are too scared to face all this mess . "
She started sobbing again as she told me all this....I was shocked to hear all this...my mind went blank for a moment as I saw her cry...after a few minutes of silence...I grabbed her hand and started dragging her towards those guys...riya started pulling back to stop me...but I kept on dragging her...as we moved forward...they both noticed us . With the creepiest smile on their face...they both turned on their bike...and turned around towards me and riya . I was able to feel her hand getting cold as we were moving towards those guys .
