Despite now being in the body of an infant my mind hasn't dulled down a bit. So after a few weeks of being born I notice my body developing faster. I'm already able to crawl, am almost able to speak and have good hand eye coordination "System, is there any way for me to mentally skip this infant zone until I'm able to walk and talk and am almost ready to practice magic?" I ask the system in my head.
"Yes but you will experience big milestones first hand, you will merely be a puppet until then." the system replies.
"Sure, fine with me," I say not really caring, after all I live in a cabin just north of Magnolia, where I plan on heading. Time seems to flow almost instantly until I manage to take my first steps, my parents of this world whom I don't even have interest due to a gut feeling they'll die in a few years congratulate me while looking confused. Who can blame them a 3 month old kid walking is unheard of. After another (shorter) passage of time I say my first word. "D d dwagons!" I nearly yell. 'Why didn't I pronounce it right, maybe lack of teeth?' I think, either way it doesn't bother me. After the last time skip I arrive at my 4th birthday, I have a bad feeling about today. "System, after four not so long years maybe I should give you a name. How about Serena? After all you (so far) are pretty serene," I ask the system, aloud not worried if anyone will hear me since I'm in the forest training my body like I have been in my puppet like state.
"Sure, I would like that, although I am only partially sentient I would like it, maybe you could give me a physical body one day," the newly dubbed Serena replies.
"If that's ever in my power I will, maybe I'll head back early," I casually say. As I walk back home I hear a commotion, by the sounds of it bandits. "Serena, what magic can you supply me with?" I silently ask not wanting to disturb the bandits making them aware of my presence.
"With the current situation I recommend maker magic due to it's diversity. Perhaps metal make?"
"Metal make it is, how long till it's ingrained?" I ask
"Already done."
"Alright, METAL MAKE; SNAKES!" I yell, creating several snakes who slither up to the startled bandits and wrap around their necks, chocking them until they pass out due to a lack of oxygen. I quickly run through the entire scene making sure I got all of them. Despite being a 4 year old I made quick work of them, after all of them are knocked out I find my parents dead. "Figures, I hardly knew you guys and yet I will still mourn your loss, I will bury you guys here and turn in these bandits. It's the least I can do." I mutter, I bury them next to the house with a grave reading 'two loving parents rest here. X??? - X771'. I then find some rope in the house and tie the 6 bandits up and head to magnolia.
-2 hours later
"Hey, guard, about 5 miles north there's a group of bandits, I would've brought them here myself but obviously I'm not strong enough, I managed to beat them and tie them up so could you please have someone bring them in, they killed my parent's after all." I say to the first guard I see.
"How did you even take out bandits, you're just a kid." the guard ridicules me.
"With this; Metal make; snake." I reply coldly showing off a snake just as large as me, 'this will convince him, I only used snakes about a foot long.'
"Holy crap kid, you're a wizard?!" the guard nearly screams.
"Yeah, now go bring them in, I'll be heading to FairyTail to join now." I state as I walk away. On my way to the guild I see Kardia Cathedral and Lucy's future house. I spot the guild and jog up and open the door and see a mostly empty guild. Master Makorov is about to walk out until he notices me.
"Hey, are you lost?" He asks sincerely.
"No, I'm looking to join. My name is Iskandor Dracos and currently wield metal make magic. However I have a hunch I an capable of learning several types of magic. So what do you say Master Makorov?" I say in a manner to let him know of my vast intellect.
"You've done your homework, I am indeed the master of FairyTail. You can join but do you have anywhere to stay?" He says calmly.
"Unfortunately no, my parents where killed earlier today by bandits, I managed to awaken my metal maker magic thanks to that, I knocked them out and buried my parents. As soon as I got into town I informed a guard and came straight here. All on my birthday no less." I say with little emotion.
"How about you stay in the infirmary for now, I'll see if anyone wants to take care of you for now, for the time being I will. Come, I'll get you some clothes and food." He says walking back from behind the bar with the stamp to mark me as a FairyTail wizard. "Where do you want your guild mark?" he asks.
I lift up my right sleeve and point to my shoulder, "here, in black please."
