"Who's Flavius?" I asked.
Luis, who was looking down, suddenly raised his head and stared at me speechlessly. Then he sighed and muttered, "You always say what I least expect..."
"Hm?"
"Nothing." He smiled. "Flavius is one of my informants. He's good at disguise so I usually send him around on small tasks. He was disguised as a guard in the garden you were at until now. I sent him to keep an eye on you if anything were to happen. He noticed the blood and told me. That is when I came to the garden."
"Oh?" 'I have to meet this guy!' "Can I meet him? He seems useful..."
Luis sighs again. "Fine. I'll get him. Also, I called a maid to bring some medical supplies and clothes for you. She's one of my people. She'll help you dress your wound and change. I will be back after you are done." He got up and walked out of the room.
Shortly after, a maid came in with a box of medical supplies and a pile of clothes. She helped me carefully remove my clothes and dress my wounds.
The weird thing was that the whole while she was doing so, she snuck glances at me and smiled.
'What is wrong with her?'
"Which of these clothes would you like to wear, My Lady?" The maid pointed to the huge number of dresses she carefully placed on the bed.
'My Lady? Why is she calling me that?'
"Uh, the blue one to the right, then." I just chose randomly.
"Yes. My Lady will look very pretty in that dress. The color is also the same as My Lady's eyes!" The maid clapped her hands while smiled brightly and started to help me dress.
This girl kind of reminded me of Cassandra. The reason I chose blue was probably also because of how Cassandra always nagged and said that I would look prettiest in blue. Well, it IS true...
"You remind me of my maid, Cassandra. What is your name?" I asked before I could stop myself.
"This one is Paula, My Lady." She said with a grin. 'So cute...'
"Thank you very much for your help, Paula." I smiled and said when she was done.
Her eyes lit up and she smiled so big, that her eyes were narrowed into slits. "I am glad to be of help, My Lady!"
I froze at that moment. 'Oh dear, she is just SO cute!'
While I was still lost in thoughts, there was a knock on the door. "Can I come in, Aster?" Luis asked.
"Yes, come in. " I answered.
I turned to him as soon as he stepped in. "Hey, give me Paula!"
"No!" He immediately rejected with a frown. "Why do you want to take my people away?"
"She seems useful!" I said, without feeling down. 'Plus she's cute!'
"That again!" He exclaimed.
That is when I noticed that he wasn't alone. The other person was looking at me with surprise. I looked at him with intrigue. "Is that Mr. Flavius?"
Luis sighed and placed a hand at his forehead while waving his other hand, signaling for the person to step forward. "Yes"
"Oh!" I clapped my hands together. "Say, Mr.Flavius, can you disguise yourself as a female as well? Or as an old man, maybe? Do you change your facial features as well? What about your voice? And-"
"Okay, stop interrogating him. Take a seat, don't strain your wound. You can talk slowly. He will answer all of your questions." Luis interrupted me. He turned to the other man and said, "You take a seat too."
Once we were all seated, I looked at Mr.Flavius with excitement. 'Answer quickly!'
His grey eyes looked at my fascinated self with part surprise and part skepticism as he started to answer my questions.
